Wow...

[Annie Pettigrew]

Annie walked down to the lake, carrying David in one arm, a picnic blanket in the other. She threw the blanket down on the ground, then pulled her wand out of her back pocket and waved it at the blanket, causing it to roll out flat on the ground. She sat down carefully, then put David down on the ground, her legs forming a circle around him, with his head resting on her feet. She smiled down at him, her hands running lightly over his face, arms and legs, toes and fingers. "Wow..." she said softly, amazed that somebody so amazing and perfect could have come from her.

I was walking out to the lake and I saw a girl sitting on a blanket infront of the lake with a baby. Being in a friendly mood today, I walked over to her. "Hey" I say to her smiling, "That is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen" I say chuckling slightly to her.

[Annie Pettigrew]

Annie grinned up at him. "Thanks. His name is David. He's my baby." she said proudly. "My first."

[Riley Pearson]

I smiled widely and sat down. "That's awesome" I say still smiling at her, "How old is he?" I asked her then remembering I didn't introduce myself, "Name's Riley by the way" I add chuckling and holding out my hand.

[Annie Pettigrew]

I smiled over at him and shook my head. "He's three days old, actually. And I'm Annie."

[Riley Pearson]

"Wow, just three days?" I say still smiling, "And nice to meet you"

[Annie Pettigrew]

I laughed. "Yeah, only three days. And nice to meet you too." I looked down at Dave and smiled. "He looks just like his daddy."

[Riley Pearson]

I smiled, "Most likely I'd agree with you, but I don't know who he is.." I say chuckling.

[Annie Pettigrew]

"His name is Cylas Mitogi. He's got his daddy's nose, and eyes, and ears. Davy's got my chin, though." I said, smiling over at Riley.

[Riley Pearson]

I laughed a little, "I don't know him" I say chuckling looking from David to her, "He does have your chin" I add smiling.

[Annie Pettigrew]

I grinned. "Thanks." I said happily.

[Riley Pearson]

"You're welcome" I say happily back to her, "So what house are you?" I asked not really know what to say.

[Annie Pettigrew]

"Gryffindor." she said proudly. "For my last year of school. Transferred from Beauxbatons a few weeks after first semester started."

[Riley Pearson]

"Cool" I say smiling, "That must be kind of tuff though, having to switch schools so late"

[Annie Pettigrew]

"Yeah, it kind of is. And I'm still in touch with most of my friends in France, which makes making new friends hard. But my brother goes here, and so do my boyfriend and old neighbors, so I know some people."

[Riley Pearson]

"That's good though" I tell her smiling, "At least you know some people"

[Annie Pettigrew]

I smiled at him. "Yeah. So tell me about yourself, Riley."

[Riley Pearson]

I chuckled slightly and shrugged, smiling, "Just your average Ravenclaw" I start trying to think of things, "I like to read, play chess... I play guitar, I love my girlfriend, and... I bake. Feel free to laugh at the last one" I add chuckling.

[Annie Pettigrew]

I grinned at him. "Peter bakes too. Peter's my brother. And Cylas is an excellent cook, as well. I think it's cool that you're proud of what you're good at, especially when it's thought of as women's work."

[Riley Pearson]

I laugh a little and continue smiling, "Thanks" I say smiling, "Wow... a lot of guys bake" I add chuckling.

[Annie Pettigrew]

I laughed. "Maybe it's just the guys I know, or something?"

[Riley Pearson]

I shrugged, "Maybe" I say chuckling slightly.

[Annie Pettigrew]

I smiled. "Who's your girlfriend?" I asked him, tickling Dave's toes.

[Riley Pearson]

"Riyann Servansikk" I say smiling, "Do you know her?"

[Annie Pettigrew]

"Um.....I think Peter mentioned meeting her. Gryffie, right?"

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded with a small smile, "Yep, sure is"

[Annie Pettigrew]

She smiled. "How long have you two been going out?" she asked.

[Riley Pearson]

"A few weeks now" I say smiling a little wider.

"Awwwww...." Annie coo-d (lol, sp?), grinning slightly. "That's so sweet."

I laughed lightly at her aww and rubbed the back of my neck slightly, smiling widely.
"Thanks" I say smiling sheepishly, "I don't know what I'd do without her"
