Can't be happening...{Riyann}

[Riley Pearson]

I smiled to her and nodded my head a little, "Okay.." I say wishing it more than just cold that I was feeling trying to imagine it like she was doing.

I nodded after him. "Okay." I repeated quietly, grinning when I moved as close to him as I could get.

I gave her a small grin as she moved closer to me, "I love you.." I whispered quietly, even though I had already said it.

I nodded, "I love you too." I said and thought about how he could say that or look at this thing I now was that he couldn't entirely focus on because I was transparent and when he would say these things to the one thing that now lay in a coffin only in the same room, but I ignored it.

I sighed slightly, wiping away the tear that had fallen before, and smiled weakly at her.

I watched Riley silently, smiling back to him lightly, hiding the fact that just the tears or the sad smiles were tearing me apart horribly on the inside.

"I'm sorry I'm like this.." I said quietly to her.

"Why do you appologize for it?" I asked, shaking my head at him lightly. "Be how you are, I'll be there as best I can." I whispered with a small laugh.

I smiled and laughed quietly, "Because I must be pretty depressing." I say with a slight shrug and then smiling again at her second statement, wishing for a, probably hundreth time that night, that I could kiss her.

I shrugged, "I'll li- deal with it." I said, almost saying live, but who knows how that would be. "We'll get around this." I whispered, shutting my eyes lightly.

"Okay.." I say seeing her shut her eyes and beleiving her that we would, closing my eyes lightly too, with a small smile.

I opened my eyes and saw Riley's shut and smiled, glad that he had them shut. Moving my hand off the side of his face and out from under his hand I slowly moved it down his neck and over his chest, knowing that it probably sent shivers down his spine.

I felt her move her hand off the side of my face and then felt her running it from my neck to my chest, feeling shivers go down my spine and smiling wider, opening my eyes a bit, looking at her.

I laughed lightly when he opened his eyes to watch me but just shook my head at him, tracing shapes lightly along his chest and neck.

I smiled and felt more shivers as she traced shapes on me, laughing softly.

I grinned. "There's my Riley." I whispered at his soft laughter and continued tracing shapes, watching my transparent fingers on his chest.

I grinned at her and chuckled a bit as she traced more shapes, "You're so amazing."

I shook my head lightly, biting my lower lip as I did so, chosing not to voice how I thought not and stayed silent, looking at his eyes with my transparent ones, moving my hand lightly back up to his face, trailing my fingers slowly.

I smiled softly at her and kept my eyes on her, trying to focus on her and not the objects and room that I could see through her.

I let out a small laugh and traced my fingers over his lips, wishing it was real still.

I felt her touch my lips and chuckled very softly as I watched her, placing my hand on the side of cheek very carefully.

If I hadn't of seen Riley move his hand to my cheek softly all I would have felt was the split second, small burn of his hand, but I did and I grinned.

I grinned softly as I saw her grin, "I missed your smile.." I said quietly.

"Now you don't have to." I said just as quiet as he had spoken and moved my hand back, still lightly touching his face.

I smiled and sighed a bit, "I just wish I could hug you.."

I nodded. "Me too." I said and chuckled lightly despite our current situation.

I nodded slightly, moving my hand off her cheek, scooting a little closer to her, trying to imagine her really being there again.

I nodded. "But we can deal with this for now." I whispered next to his ear.

I smiled slightly as she whispered into my ear and nodded, "Okay.."

I grinned, keeping my face next to his and closing my eyes lightly.
