I jump a bit, almost banging my head on the wall, and then stand up so I can turn around and kneel down. "Why... yes, there is," I say slowly, face inches from the spider as I tilt my head at it, fascinated.

I nod. "Lightning, or Thunder or something. He was really fast, and had a web under my desk. I put a... an enlargement charm of some kind on him, so I'd always know which one he was." I finally pull away from the wall, looking back at Riley and smiling sheepishly at my somewhat odd behavior.

I laugh slightly, shaking my head. "So I take it you wouldn't do this?" I ask, turning back to the wall again to let the little spider crawl onto my hand. I hold it up to eye level and tilt my head at it again, watching it walk around. "See? It's almost cute."
