I am sitting on the floor in the Entrance Hall with my back against the wall and my arms around my knees, doing absolutely nothing except staring at the wall across from me.
I’m not upset however, not exactly. I’m just sitting. Thinking. Trying to figure things out. I have no idea where I stand as far as Logan is concerned. My other best friend is now dead and I think I might be partly in denial. I’m more conflicted than ever over whether or not to join the Order, since I’ve got a new reason for wanting to but still have the same old doubts. And then there’s the matter of my newfound family members….
I sigh heavily. Yet, somehow, I’m content. Or… well, not a wreck anyway. And that’s progress, right?

I walked down the stairs into the entrance hall and hear a large sigh from behind me. I turn around and see Arden sitting by a wall.
"Hey, you okay?" I ask her walking closer and sitting down next to her.

"Hm?" I ask, looking up suddenly but strangely not jumping as I notice Riley. "No, I'm fine," I say, shaking my head. "How have you been?"

I nod my head looking over at her, "I'm pretty good" I say smiling, "And are you sure? You seem out of it"

"Cool" I say with a small smile, "Or boring, one of or the other" I add with small chuckle, "Uh.. not much really... Brought Riyann home with me to meet my family though... that's about it" I say still smiling with a shrug. "And I also ran into a door on way here.." I rubbed my head slightly.

I laugh genuinely at the last bit and shake my head, rolling my eyes. "You would.... Very graceful of you there. So did your family like Riyann then?"

I laughed a little, "Thank you.. and in my defense someone opened it as I was walking by" I say with a chuckle, "Yeah, they love her... Especially my little sister" I answer smiling over at Arden.

I nod my head and grin lightly, "Yeah, it was fun, Lil tried to embarress me though" I say with a chuckle and then laugh lightly at her comment, "Well, I normally wouldn't, this time it wasn't really my fault though... okay, so it was, but not entirely"

"Hm..." I say. "Funny... my little sister's name is Lil, too," I say thoughtfully, knowing this is kind of an odd way to announce that I've got a little sister.

I nod still slightly confused on the situation but ignored it and answered her question, "She was basically repeating things that I had said about Riyann to them, she could've done better if you ask me, still embarrassed me a little though" I say with a chuckle.
