i sat out at the lake throwing rocks out. i had just came from gideons flat where i had snapped. i had silents tears streaming down my face. "arthur i need you. where are you.." i cry and throw another rock out at the lake but with as much force as i could. "damn everything..."

Fay checks forest.
I check lake.
I spot her almost immediately, and sit gingerly next to her. "You want me to piss off? Or can I stay?" I say gently.

i nod and lean my head on his shoulder. "i just snapped. when i went down on my knees..i just snapped. everything seemed so small. the room. my coat. and then you did that..i just snapped. i had to get out." i sigh i put my hand on my stomach and look down. was starting to get the bump. it was starting to get noticeable. "man i'm fat..." i say with a soft chuckle.

"well a few things.." i start. "first i want bill to stop calling peter dad. he's changed, and ever since he started to date this girl he's been paying less and less attention to bill. i'm glad that peter's happy now, but bills unhapppy. he's asking for peter a lot now. he used to see him everyday now he's lucky to see peter a few minutes every other week. i don't want bill to grow up like that. i want him to call arthur dad. and i already asked arthr if it was ok if bill called him dad." i say, "Then there's the easy thing, but it's not good. a first year is in love with me. he was crying, i tries to calm him down then he kissed my cheek and asid he loved me. i thought he meant like 'i love you like a sister' because i said it back in the way 'i love you like a brother'"

"Okay, the dad thing. Peter's gonna have to deal with it. If he wants what's best for Bill, he'll get it. And you're Bill's mother, it's up to you, not Peter or anyone else. And Arthur's the one that's going to be there, isn't he? So Bill will probably pick it up to call him that after a while whether Arthur agrees or not." I say. "The first year thing-..." My face cracks into a smile but I stop myself, "...is quite amusing, but anyway. You're graduating in a while, and you're going to get married and have kids and all that, he'll get it through his head eventually. Sounds harsh, but it's true."
