I walked out to the lake and sat against a tree staring out across the lake. It had only been my second day at Hogwarts, but I was really not fitting in. 'Could this get any worse?' I thought. Then it started to thunder and rain. "Why me?" I yelled over the roar of thunder and just sat there as the rain came down upon me.

"I could ask the same question." I say in a friendly way, sitting down next to a miserable looking girl by the lake. "What's up?"

"I hate this school," I said turning to him.

"It's not that bad, is it? What do you hate about it?" I say.

"Everything!" I exclaimed, "I don't know how to make friends, when I try, I push them away, the class are okay, but the professors don't know anything, and I want to go home."

"That sucks." I say, running a hand through my hair which was rapidly being plastered down to my forehead with rain. "It'll get easier. You make friends by accident whether you want them or not. There's always other people who like to keep people at a distance too, so they don't mind being pushed away. You're right, the professors spout bollocks a lot, but the library is great if you don't understand. And there's some pretty good tutor's around here too. The home thing, not much I can say really. But this place becomes like home after a while. Why do you think I'm still here? I graduated a year and a half ago and I hated it just as much when I was younger, but it becomes home."
