It'll Go Away

[Jay Chou]

It'll go away...Just give it time.. Jay thought to himself as he laid on the couch. He didn't have a shirt on and his hat on the table, how he always slept. He had stayed, just like he had told Shelby, but he wasn't sure that she knew. He'd leave the house before any of them woke up and then came back when he was sure they were all asleep.
In reality, he was only in the home sleeping for a matter of a few hours. But this morning, he haddecided to stay around. To stay and just wait for all the kids to come. After a few moments he heard the little pitter patter of small foot steps coming down the stairs.
When the kids finally saw who it was on the couch then all ran and piled up on and around Jay. He couldn't understand what they had said but one word was the same "Daddy"
It almost hurt when they said that, knowing what thier mum had done. But he didn't show it. He was much to happy to see his kids. Yes, Jay still called all of them his kids.
"Hey baby girls..." He muttered softly as he sat up pulling Jessie into his arms with a small smile. "Hey Zoe, Ashlyn, Hope, Holly." He grinned either kiss the top of thier heads or stroking their hair lightly. "Isaiah, my little man." Jay grins ruffling up his hair lightly, sitting up all the way with some of them next to him his arm around them. Isaiah and Jessie in his lap.
"We're missing one.." He mutters looking around for Jenny, then sees her in the corner. "Come on over here. Know you don't lke me but I like you so come on." He muttered with a small smile. She rolled her eyes and came and sat down on the end of the couch.
This was the easy part. Just seeing the kids. Jay knew that the real hard part was going to be once Shelby came down.
He had done quite a bit of thinking over the few days and he needed to talk to her. He needed to talk to her bad.

Shelby heard the kids downstairs already at nine in the morning. That was something unusual even for them. She puts her light blue robe on and walked down to the living room. Shelby sees Jay sitting there with all seven of them, acting as if nothing's wrong. "Hey." I say sitting down against the window sill.

[Jay Chou]

Jay heard Shelby and that was when the act fell through. He took to the blank look he had become accustomed to over teh past few days. It mostly looked sad. He looked over to Shelby and nodded slightly. "Hey.."

[Shelby Chou]

Jenny sighs and walks into the kitchen. I just look out the window, not saying anything. The kids were worried what was wrong, since neither of us had told them, and I didn't plan on it either. I still had to tell Jay that I was pregnant, but once again I wasn't going to mention it in front of them.

[Jay Chou]

"Guys...Go hang out in the kitchen ok? We'll fix you something to eat soon. Mum and I have to talk." He said to them and nudged them lightly, kissing their heads again. Jay crosses his arms infrotnf of his chest then looks up at Shelby.

[Shelby Chou]

She looks up and just stares at him. "So?" she states simply and rather flat.

[Jay Chou]

"You've got the look on your face." He says. "The look that you've got something inside that you want to say." Jay adds. "I know your looks." He finished.

[Shelby Chou]

I sigh and sit next to him now. "Jay. I'm pregnant." I say softly, closing my eyes.

Jay closes his eyes then leans back against the couch. He just couldn't think of anything to say. "You sure?"

[Shelby Chou]

"Yes. I'm positive Jay..." I say softly, doing the same actions as he was.

[Jay Chou]

He bit the inside of his lip and clicked his tounge against the roof of his outh. "He know?"

[Shelby Chou]

"Yes. He said he'll help in anyway possible." I say to him.

[Jay Chou]

"Want me to have anything to do with the baby?"

[Shelby Chou]

"If you want to Jay. It's up to you." I say taking his hand.

[Jay Chou]

Jay lets her hold his hand, then nods his head. "I want to." He mutters. "Unless he has a problem with it." jay adds, slight bitterness in his voice.

[Shelby Chou]

"He shouldn't." I say shaking my head, sighing a little when he lets me hold his hand. I smile softly.

[Jay Chou]

"Him and I aren't on very good terms..." Jay muttered

[Shelby Chou]

"Because of what happened, or did you go and bug him?" I ask looking at him now.

[Jay Chou]

"Bug...beat up..whichever you perfer."

[Shelby Chou]

I gasp. "You did what?" I ask shocked, needing to hear it again.

[Jay Chou]

"Just got in a few good hits Shelby. Don't worry about your Ian."

[Shelby Chou]

I sigh. "Don't say that." I say looking at him with a glare.

[Jay Chou]

"Glare at me all you want Shelby, it's going to do nothing. I still hate the man. He knew you were married."

[Shelby Chou]

I sigh, not knowing what to say. "So, do you hate me too?"

[Jay Chou]

"Shelby, I never loved him." He said. "When you love someone you can't just stop because they make a mistake." Jay said. "So to answer to your question with one word, no."

[Shelby Chou]

I sigh softly, wanting to lay in his arms right now, but I knew he wouldn't let me, so I lean on the opposite side.

[Jay Chou]

Jay sat there and looked over at her for a few moments as she leaned on the opposite side. He let ut a long breath and wished he had a shirt on so he could fiddle with the ends, just to be able to do something with his hands.
After a long minute or so, he opened up one of his arms, tapping her lightly on the arm to get her attention.

[Shelby Chou]

I look up slightly, noticing an arm was extended. "Yes?" I ask softly.

[Jay Chou]

"Just...come here." he muttered opening the other arm lightly.

[Shelby Chou]

I sigh, leaning up just looking at him. I faintly smile and lay into his arms.
