I sit in the dining room sitting there as if I was an ice sculpture, not moving or blinking an inch. Some weeks had gone by since the last time I seen Jay. My heart still was in love with him, but it started to ache for him, making me confused whether or not to hold on.
In the past I learned from terrible consequences when I didn't hold on to hope, so this time, I'd try to deal with the heartache and wait for him. But how long would he be gone and teasing me, keeping my heart on a string that he alone determined the length of.

Jay opens the door and walks in and sighs as he closes the door.
He felt horrible, but wonderful at the same time. He looked down at the necklace in his hands. It had 'J&S' twisted into it, and around it small little stones.
Nine to be exact. All the birth stones of Shelby's kids, and Justin and Dustin. But he hadn't been back when he thought he'd be.
First it took forever to find the guy that made these, then he had gotten lost, and his owl decided to make an escape so he couldn't write. He was in a place full of muggles and he didn't know how to use any of thir things.
But he made it back. That's all that mattered...Right?

I heard the door shut and I walk into the hallway. He was back, but I didn't run into his arms. I just stood there, looking at him.

"I was supposed to be back before you even got back home that night!" He argues walking after her, putting the necklace in his back pocket lightly. He was going to be in deep, but he wasn't going to give it to her until their six month anniversery.

Jay sighed and put on hand on her shoulder so she could walk away and brought the necklace out and held it out to her. "When I went to go and get it things didn't go as planned and I got stuck in France."
