All the kids walk down the stairs sleepy eyed seeing as it was only eight. "Morning my angels." I say with a smile as I sit in Jay's lap, with my cup of coffee. They all smile at us until their attention is caught by the many presents under the tree.
"Oh well, at least they acknowledged our existence." I say with a laugh to Jay. "Wait a second, stockings first." I say pointing to the fireplace mantle. Jenny groans slightly but walks over to her green stocking to take it down, helping Hope and Holly afterwards.

Walking around I found myself outside Shelby's and grinned, went up and knocked on the door. "Happy Christmas Shelbs, and Jay, and kids." I shouted, not wanting to say all the names of the kids, even though they are cute.

I laughed and hugged her back tightly. "Hey you too." I said and shook my head, pulling out of the hug. "I'm good." I said and chuckled. "A bit hyper though. What about you?" I asked.

I put my hand on her shoulder. "It'll be fine Shel." I said and brought her into another hug and rub her back slowly.

I gave her a smile and looked into the house. "Yup, that would be it." I said and chuckled a bit, hoping Shelby would be alright, knowing she was still taking this pretty hard.

Looking at her sadly I didn't know what to say. I didn't know what it was like, I didn't know anything of what they were going through. "I'm sorry." I whispered, pulling her into a hug, wishing that it didn't happen.
