Briar growled, banging on the door. Twice. It's happened twice and it's barely been a month. This was getting out of hand, "RUBA-..SHELL!! Ugh..WHATEVER YOUR FUCKING NAME IS OPEN THE DOOR!!" She bellowed loudly, anger evident in her tone.

This could hurt yo-" She stopped her rambling and looked at Shelby, "He got you..." Rubalyn got away from me. She knows I hate playing tag. She gasped, her hands flying to her mouth, "Oh. My. God."

I just look at her. "Briar...he's done worse, trust me..." I mutter again sitting down on the couch, still holding my heart. "I need to tell you something..." I say facing the family portrait.

I sigh, and hand her a picture of a brunnette girl about the age of 8 with an evil smirk and standing in the line up for azkaban prison. "Do you remember the Dark Ruby?" I say to her looking at the girl with disguist as she continued to smirk at Briar and I.

"You get it now..." I say softly. "This was in Logan's drawer, the reason why I started to cry a bit when we were looking for clues..." I hand her another picture. It was a more visual people of the Dark Ruby in a house that was an exact replicia of the one they were in. "The second one is her on the run...A muggle took it when she was almost caught..."   |

I sigh and go into the mini bedroom and change into my old clothes. Everything was the same except for my blonde hair. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you Briar...but I'm the Dark Ruby..." I sigh look at my feet.  |

Now he's here to kill the family?" A growl came from her throat, "I want to kill him Shelby. He's endangering yours and my own babies."

I sigh slightly. "I still have this horrid thing..." I say unwrapping my arm revealing my dark mark. "I did join willingly though, only because he said that he'd kill..." I stop for a second. "Timothy..." I say looking at her. "And you very well know he killed him! So, I rebeled against him, hence the imperio curse." I say to her. "I've tried to kill him Briar, he's too strong even for me and Logan combined..."

"No..." I say in a colder voice, one I haven't heard since I was younger. "I won't let him hurt any of you, while I'm alive Briar..." I put a hand to my ruby necklace, just staring blankly at the wall. I felt my darkness staring to arise again from deep inside me, but I shake my head.

"Right Nick. He's disappeared again..." I sigh to myself, I sit on the couch just staring at the first picture I showed her, of me as a child. How cold my eyes were, almost jet black, filled with darkness. My hair was limp and so tangled, not even a sword could cut that hair of mine.
