I laughed as Lily splashed me. "You want a water fight eh Lily?" I said as I splashed her back. I wonder if she noticed I only had my boxers on? Well if she had noticed she didn't seem to mind. I stopped splashing her and swam to the back of the waterfall.

Laughing, Lily said "Yes, the waterfall is pretty." She then paused for a second, splashed him again, and ducked quickly under the water.

I merely laughed when she splashed me again and followed her under the water. Today has been themost fun I've had in ages, and having the marauders as friends that's saying something.

Lily popped back up, and saw no James. "Hmm... where'd he get off to..." She said, looking all around. Oh god... if he pulls me under... She thought. Just as precaution... "JAMES! Don't you dare try and pull me under!" She bellowed.

"JAMES! Don't you dare try and pull me under!" She bellowed, but it was too late. I'd already grabbed her legs and pulled her strongly, but gently, under the water and risen up to the surface myself laughing.

"Ahh!" Lily shouted as she was dragged downward. Quickly, she flung herself back up, flipped the hair out her eyes, and saw a very amused James laughing. "That was not funny!" She yelled. "I could have had a... er... spaz attack while I was down there, and drowned." Lily said, trying to sound convincing.

I laughed and pulled her back up to the surface, before issing her again. It was soft and yet as loving and as passionate as I could make it. I broke it off for a second to mutter something I never thought I'd say to anyone, "I love you," before kissing her again.

"I love you too." Lily murmered against his lips. She began to kiss him back with equal passion. how evil do I want to be today... she thought. She quickly broke the kiss and pushed James under the water. "Lily wins water fight!" She shouted.

"Maybe. Maybe not." Just as I said that I dunked her under yet again. I quickly swam away and climbed out of the water. I sat on one of the rocks and waited for her to come up again.

"Eeahh!" Lily shrieked as she was dunked under again. Quickly, she sprun back up, with her head tilted back to keep her hair out of her face. Looking around, she saw James sitting quiet comfortably on a rock. "Loser." She muttered, jokingly, as she climbed out of the water. "That wasn't very nice!"

Lily seemed to be frozen, but felt James grab her hand and run. Lily quickly gained her senses back and pulled the two of them behind a tree. "That was close..." She said, and realized her and James were still holding hands. Strangely, she kept it that way.

"Oh, um, sorry guys, I didn't mean to, um...." I stammered. I was just looking around the lake for a place I could set up the picnic I was planning for tomorrow. I looked at them, and saw that they were still holding hands, and raised an eyebrow. "Finally said yes, Lily?" I asked smiling.

"It's a long story... me and Molly had this bet, that if I gave you a second glance and didn't die, then I owe her my first born son. And If I do die, which I'm pretty sure I haven't yet, then she has to make a speech, and bring me flowers at my funeral." She chuckled. "But then you, "she paused to poke James. "had to go and turn on "your charm" I ended up saying yes instead of simply looking at you."

"Fuck." I whispered as James walked away. I turned around, a plan half-formed in my head. "Lily, you were right." I said, pulling a galeon (sp?) out of my pocket, throwing it to her as I turned to James. "I bet that you wouldn't care about why she said yes, she knew you would want her to say yes because she wanted to. I guess I was wrong." I said, apologetically. Hopefully, Lily would catch on and help.

It felt like Lily had just stepped into a giant pit of mud and couldn't move. Her mouth hung slightly open from shock. Did he really just do that? Not only could she not move, it felt like when she was eight, and her uncle took her to a muggle amusement park, and made her ride the roller coaster. She wasn't sure whether to explode and shout, run, or what she seemed to be doing now, just stand there.
Catching on to what Peter was doing, she gathered her senses and caught the coin. "See! I told you he would care! And now look what you started!" She shouted, hoping it was believable.

Finally losing her self control, Lily, simply put, exploded.
"James Potter! you get back here this instant! All the bet with me and Molly said was that I had to give you a second glance! But what do you know, I said yes! I didn't have to say yes! I just had to look at you! But no! I did more than that! Because I WANTED TO! You've been asking me all night if this is what I really wanted, and I've been saying yes, and it's the truth! So you get back here right now!" She bellowed, her face flushed. Lily marched right up to James, grabbed his collar, and planted a strong, passionate kiss on his lips, not caring in the least that Peter was right behind her.
