I wander aimlessly through the grounds.
I'd been back a couple of days but something seemed different about this place.
The war maybe, taking it's hold more than it had before.
I put my hands in my pocket at the unpleasant thought, my hand closing convulsively around my wand as it always seemed to be doing nowadays.
Maybe it was just me that was different since I'd got back, more on guard, defensive, defenitely.
I stop when I get into the shade of the castle, and just stand there a moment, becoming so wrapped up in my thoughts I'd forgotten to carry on walking.
