It felt good to be walking again. I'd managed to get all the way from the hospital wing to the courtyard, which was good. It meant Logan hadn't won, and that I was getting better and at least I could still walk. At this thought where the break was in my back twinges with pain, forcing me to sit down in the courtyard. Okay, maybe he had kind of won. And it wasn't over yet anyway. I put my head in my hands in frustration.

"You shouldn't be walking around so soon." I say quietly.

I shrug, not saying anything.

"I went to see you the other day." I say quietly.

"Are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?"

"No, I'm just mad. About this whole thing." I say, looking up again.

I sit down next to him,"He hurt you bad didn't he?"

I don't say anything, just shrug, looking at the floor again.

"You shouldn't push yourself so hard, you'll just end up hurting yourself even more."

"I'd rather be walking around than up there having him drop by to see me." I mutter.

I look down again Logan's voice replaying in my head. When you go and visit dear Chris later on, which you will, seeing as it may be the last time you see him, can you pass on a message from me? "Life's a war..." I say quietly.

"Some lose sooner than most." I say without meaning to, then look up at her, just realising what she'd said, then back at the floor, "So he wasn't lying." I say quietly.

"Something-...our friends used to say." I mutter. I'd felt guilty about what I'd done to them before, but never...I'd never seen what I'd done until I saw what happened to Logan because of it. No, that wasn't fair. He'd always been that way, so had I, but he'd never targetted me before.

I sigh quietly, brushing my hair off my face. I bite my lip slightly as I reach for his hand, hoping he wouldn't pull away.

I pause a moment, but take hold of her hand, still looking anywhere but actually at her.

"We do alot of guessing too." I mutter,"Guessing if we'll make it through all this, guessing if we take a chance, geussing if we'll be alive tomorrow..."
