that haunts the ocen blue." i sang as i sat on the window sill with bill in my lap. he was playing with the end of my hair. "mum.." he whines softly. "what you like mum's singing?" i smile. "mum ing." he says. he was really learning how to talk now. i nod my head and start to sing again.
"the vampirate ship has tattered sails
that flap like wings in flight
they say the captian, he wears a veil
so as to curtial your fright
at his death-pale skin
and his lifeless eyes
and his teeth as sharp as night.
oh, they say that the captian, he wears a veil
and his eyes never see the light." i stop again. "mum ing." bill says again. i smile and kiss the top of his head.
"you better be good child-good as gold,
as good as you can be.
else i'll turn you in to the vampirates
and wave you out to seea.

because- look! can you see?
there's a dark ship in the lake tonight
and there's room for thee.." i smile weakly as i see bill with wide eyes. i've sung this to him many times before so i knew it didn't scare him.
"well, if pirates are bad
and vampires are worse,
then i ray that as long as i be
that though i sing of vampirates
i never one shall see.
yea, if pirates are danger
and vampires are death,
i'll extend my prayer for thee-
that thine eye never see a vampirate..." i say and see bill laying his head back on my chest and looking out at the lake.
"...and they never lay a hand on thee" i finish. he's still looking out at the lake. i hear something fall from one of the tables and when i look over to see who it is i see.......................

"thanks." i say, "and i'm not sure if this whole onix and me thing is forever. i kinda want it to be, but there's still something inside of me that still says go with arthur, but then over that theres something yelling at me to stay with onix." i say and move bill around seeing as he fell asleep so now he's facing me with his head on my chest. "he makes me happy cass. so happy." i smile

"i know." i say, "i don't see why i am. it's like he went into my mind and saw exactly what i wanted. i'm gonna have bill stop thinking as peter as his dad, it's for the best, but even before i told onix that he offered to take bill in as his own and this baby because arthur gave it up." i say. "when i asked him if he wanted to meet my son he said 'no molly i would like to meet OUR son' he said our son." i smile. "and when i asked if he wanted bill to call him dad he said that he wanted bill to do it on his own and accept him as his dad on his own." i smile "and he makes me feel better about myself. he says i'm beautiful, and beore only my brother used to say it and i mean your brothers saying that you beautiful, it's nice but it's diffret from someone you love in that special way." i smile

"he was around long enough to get me pregnant, ask me to marry him, then leave again. that was pretty much it." i say. "and now he gave up the baby." i sigh, knowing that i didn't want things to be like this but i as happier like this. onix made me happy. "hey cass can i tell you something? and you won't be mad. this is the reason i choose onix in teh end." i say

"from what people have told me, he has." i sigh. "so the baby'll ust grow up thinking onix is it's father. onix wants the baby more than arthur ever has." i say and rub bills back so he'll stay asleep. "i wonder where he got the deep sleeping thing.." i chuckle looking down at him
