Rose stumbled down the highstreet to Knockturn alley. She felt like she'd been spinning very fast for a very long time and now she'd stopped and couldn't make sense of anything.
She kept going through it in her head but it didn't make sense, none of it did, Jack...Callum...Jack dead...marry Callum...Jack...dead...Jack...dead Jack...
It just didn't seem possible.
She couldn't stop herself from crying, maybe she'd dry up eventually and then crumble and turn to dust and that'd be just fine because she doubted she could live like this. She was looking forward to drying up completely and crumbling away, but for now her face would just remain stiff and wet, eyes aching and bloodshot.
She felt weak, like she'd just taken a beating, like her body would just give up on her so she stumbled against a wall, slumping against it and then sliding to the floor, not much caring where she was.
She had no where to go, not home to Callum, not to Jack because he just wasn't there...like he'd promised he'd would be...
Anger flared in her chest, constricting her breath. He'd left her, gone, just like that and it wasn't fair because he'd promised...
Then she felt incredibly childish, and just drew her legs up to her chest, crying softly into her knees.
She didn't care she was in a street full of dark wizards, she didn't care at all anymore.

"Not a good place to break down," I whisper, kneeling down tapping the woman on her shoulder. I'd been wandering around for a bit now, trying to make sense of Maddie's letter.
It had been all tear stained and the ink had smudged making it hard to read. That and I needed some time alone. I adored being a dad, but there was only so much crying I could take.

"Oh yeah, prove it," She mutters under her breath, putting her hand on the wall behind her to pull herself up, and brushing away her tears with the back of her hand.
