I wait, heart pounding, inside the Shrieking Shack to meet with Heightington. I'd done what he told me to do, even if I had tried to find and exploit every possible loophole to get out of it. In the end I'd given in, and Arden was now dead. I'd even, for good measure, killed my other worthless sister - the soft-spoken Squib who'd wiped tables at the Leaky Cauldron for a living. The gentle, trusting soul who had never harmed anyone, ad mostly spent her life just listening sympathetically to other people's troubles….
I shake my head quickly, deriving away thoughts of all the time that I had spent there, trying and hoping to work up the courage to talk to her again, ask her to forgive me. Every time I failed, when I saw how happy and content she was, and remembered the fear on her face the last time that she saw me.
She never liked you anyway, I remind myself quickly. That's because you used to torture her, but still - she never liked you anyway. And Arden? Hah! Utterly inflexible yet very, very weak. Sure, she was your friend - until you were eight. Since then she has been nothing, and there's no point even thinking about whether it all could have worked… if you had been more patient….
My head snaps up, thought trailing off as I hear a board creak somewhere in the building, and I swallow very dryly as I wait for him to show.
This is where you find out whether all of this was worth it.

Jerami had been waiting upstairs for a while since fitzy had entered.. let him sweat a bit. The saying was. After a while he moved towards the stairs silently till he came to the last step and made sure it made a creaking sound. Just to alart the boy. "Crucio." Jerami whispered through his lips. The heat in his voice could be seen by the steam in the air.
"Ello Fitzy." He said keeping the spell at the current level.

I barely have time to notice that Heightington is indeed there before he's cursing me. I grit my teeth and clench my fists against the pain of the spell, realizing just now how long it's been since anyone cast it on me... other than Arden. I nod in acknowledgment anyway, not speaking.

"You've fucked up Fitzy... You fucked up bad." Jerami said shaking his head. "You see i told you to kill the bitch. Not just fuck her up a bit." Jerami's words were dripping with disappointment. He sat down on a brown torn up couch, his legs spread and Fitzy a few yards in front of him.
Making the spell a bit more powerful to make fitzy bow. He contiued. "Do you know what i'm talking about?"

Saphire mearly laughed. "Talk about jumping on the prize eh love?"
With a slight sigh she finished pushing her way through the small door into the room that the two occupied by themselves. The room wasn't small, but it wasn't large either. She had been walking alone, when she heard thoughts of pain. Saphire, being the nosy person that she is, decided she would see what Jerami was up to. She didn't need to read his thoughts to know who it was..it was ALWAYS jerami.

I shake my head jerkily, wishing he'd let up on the damn spell so I could speak properly and explain my confusion. Though maybe it's best if I don't actually say what I'm thinking. Technically, you just told me to 'make an example of' her. Yet, I did kill her so I don't know what you're talking about.

Saphire laughed. "He really is a stupid boy love" She walked over to stand next to Jerami and looked at the poor excuse of a death eater that was laying on the ground in front of them. "Hun, you don't have to speak, I can hear everything in your head" She laughed. The best part of the game was screwing with their minds.

Jerami flicked his wand so the boy would turn on his back. Then lifted the spell from the boy. "Now explain why she is alive before I give you an example of what she is supposed to be like."

Not going to argue with that, I think in response to her first comment, before trying to stifle the flash of panic at her next. There's a bit of relief when he finally lifts the spell and then I try to gather my thoughts. "I guess you'd know better than I would since she is, in fact, dead," I say bitterly, perhaps slightly less politely than I ought to be speaking. "I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. I killed her and my other sister too for good measure." Unless you meant Lilith.... I think with another flash of panic, but that's ridiculous. Even I didn't know that Lilith was my sister until a couple weeks ago, and she's hardly old enough to qualify as a blood traitor or not.

Saphire listened carefully, knowing full well that some would mess with their thoughts..give her in accurate information. "Lilith..." She whispered to herself and looked at Jerami. "Who is Lilith... And why do I know that name from somewhere?" She bit her lip slightly, and closed her eyes. I hate when this happens She sighed.. the only down part of reading thoughts was that you only got what they were thinking at the moment.. Not the whole story.

Jerami shrugged and looked at the boy. "Who is she.. And she is not dead. She is breathing perfectly fine when i saw her." He said a bit impressed with the sister killing.

I shake my head, pressing a hand to my forehead briefly and speaking quickly, inwardly cursing mind-readers and my own thoughts for potentially putting Lilith in danger. I don't care what happens to me here anymore... or at least not very much... just as long as she is safe. "Lilith... is my sister, half-sister, but she's nothing, she's a fourth year.... You couldn't have meant her, and therefore... you're wrong. Because I did kill Arden and I did kill Trisha and, sorry, but that's all the sisters that I am aware of at the moment."

Saphire laughed at his attempt at cursing her. "Your going to have to do better then call me stupid love" She said with a shake of her head.
Just when a person seemed to be learning, they went ahead and made stupid choices. "Idiot" She laughed to herself and turned to look at Jerami.
"You should and go find the little brat.. Easier to get information out of him... Reading a git's head can be rather painfull on my part"

Jerami looked over at her and smiled. That wasn't a bad idea at all. Who knows.. they might even get to mess with the little girl. Mold her into a true Death eater.. Make her see her brother for a little worm.
He looked over at fitzy. "You should watch your tone boy." Jerami said standing up and walking toward him. "Or maybe i'll go find you little sister. Saphy could tell me where she is. Who know you two could bond." He was near Fitzy now and walked behind him. "Maybe i could bond with her." he whispered and gave saphy a wink.

I didn’t call you stupid, fucking – I cut myself off before I can get myself in more trouble, not even sure what word would be appropriate anyway. Then I freeze in something like horror as she suggests finding Lilith… or I assume it’s Lilith anyway as Arden most certainly is dead.
“Don’t see what good that would do,” I force through clenched teeth, trying not to let my anger get the best of me and telling myself to ignore his threats and innuendo.
Anything but Lilith, please. I swore I wouldn’t – And I cut off that thought as well, wishing I had been more successful at trying to learn Occlumency.
