I'd finally got a moment of peace.
I loved seeing all my family and friends again.
But I needed a moment.
Just a moment, to stop smiling.
I collapse into a chair, sighing deeply, and putting my injured leg up onto the table.
Couldn't let on I was hurt around the others, could I?
I wince, leaning back in the chair and closing my eyes.
Right now, I didn't need to smile, and that was just fine.
