I Need A Dead Friend

I needed a friend...who was dead.
Someone who was like me.
Who knew what it was like to be dead.
Who I could reach out and touch, or flick or even hit and I wouldn't go right through them.
I needed a dead friend.
And who better to find than Myrtle?
"Myrtle?" I call quietly, drifting through the door, "Myrtle?"
Nothing.
Well, this worked out well.

[Isabella Knox]

I blinked from where i was standing by the sink.
I could have sworn i'd just seen Jo.
Right, i was really going insane.
"Jo?" I decided to call out, just in case.

[Joanna Miller]

"Yessum?" I say, turning around without thinking. "Hey Izzy."
Then I remember I just spent a long time being dead, and grin. "Boo."

[Isabella Knox]

I scream loudly without meaning to and jump back.
"You're back." I say, regaining composure.
"Not quite as solid as you used to be though." I smile faintly.

[Joanna Miller]

"No. Not quite solid." I laugh, "But check this out..." I stick my hand through my own stomach. "Cool, huh?"

[Isabella Knox]

"Very cool." I smile.
"So what's it like? Being dead and all?" I ask her.

[Joanna Miller]

"Interesting...you can scare people...oh who am I kidding? It's awful. Dying hurts. It's terribly boring because you can't do anything. You feel almost like a part of you is missing all the time and you might blow away and you can't touch anyone. People walk through you all the time and you can't do anything anymore!" I say, then breathe again, or the ghost equivalent. "I feel better now that's off my chest."

[Isabella Knox]

"Pretty much sucks then." I say sadly. "What happend, you were gone for ages. I missed our talks about asses."

[Joanna Miller]

"Me too." I say, sticking my bottom lip out and smiling slightly. "I don't really remember...there was the green light...then the next thing I know I was waking up and I thought it was just like any other day so I went to the great hall and someone walked straight through me. I didn't know I was-...until then."

[Isabella Knox]

"Must have been weird, and a very big shock."

[Joanna Miller]

"It was. I think I shouted at the poor girl who walked through me, and then realised that she shouldn't have been able to walk through me." I laugh.

[Isabella Knox]

"Poor girl, she must have gotten that cold shower feeling." I laugh

[Joanna Miller]

"Yeah...I always hated that. Being dead means I don't feel it anymore though, so that's a perk."

[Volkaric D]

Volkaric was bored and decided he wanted to talk to another ghost...Myrtle perhaps. He floated through the wall in to there and saw something he found another ghost just not who he expected "Ummm...Hello?"

I look straight at another ghost.
Appeared to be about my age...seemed to recognise him as a student from when I'd been here too.
"Oh my God..." I say softly, "Another-...hello." I reply.

[Volkaric D]

"You know i've been getting the 'Oh my God' treatment for a while now." he said floating over to her "Its kinda bad when another ghost does it."

[Joanna Miller]

"I'm sorry...I'm still adjusting...I didn't think...you have no idea how glad I am to see another ghost from...our kind of...era." I say.

[Volkaric D]

Volkaric nodded "Its understandable." Then floated over. Poking her. "I CAN TOUCH SOME ONE ELSE!" He exclaimed
