Breaking apart his heart

I went into the bathroom.
Perfect.
Empty.
I didn't like falling apart in front of people, never had.
But I really needed to fall apart right now.
I slid down against the wall, putting my head in my hands.
I had to tell him now.
But I had no idea how to.
He'd hurt so much and I didn't want to make him hurt more.
"You're a bitch, Erin. You're a bitch." I say softly to myself, a few stray tears sliding down my face.

Hailey walks into the bathroom mistaking it for a door to a hallway. She sees a girl sitting with her head in her hand obviously crying. Hailey goes over and sits next to "are you ok?" she asks concerned.

"Yeah, fine, fine." I force a smile, making myself stop being pathetic.
