Sage sat at her house table, eating a small lunch. She had breaks between classes and just wanted a quick pick-me-up. Her body was turned so she was half-off and half-on the bench. Ultimately, Sage was bored, since there was nobody to talk to at the moment. She began to hum a small tune.

I walk into the great hall, very bored and needing someone to talk to. I hadn't met that many people yet, so I wasn't sure who to talk to. I walk over to an empty chair and then heard someone humming, I looked round to see a girl. by herself. I smile softly and then made my way over to her, "Hey, may if I sit?"

"Sure, go ahead." Sage smiled, scooting over to make room for the boy. "It's about time some company showed up. I'm Sage." She laughed, sticking a hand out toward him.

I smile and sit down next to her, "It's about time, to have someone to talk to," I reply and then shake her hand, "It's pleasure to meet you, Sage. I'm Justin," I smile and then kiss the top of her hand slightly.

Her cheeks blushed a light shade of pink, nodding her head, "I-It's nice to meet you too." Sage stuttered. A smile was still stuck on her face, sort of dumbfounded about what to talk about. She wasn't exactly the greatest conversation starter.

I smile warmly at her blush, "You look cute when you blush," I grin.

Sage chuckled under her breath, her cheeks flushing darker red. She smiled back, a sort of awkward, lop-sided grin. "Y-yeah..." She stuttered again, trying to think of something to talk about.

I smile and knew she was trying to think of something, "What house are you in?" I ask.

"Gryffindor, seventh year." She explained, "What about you?" Sage asked him, a small smile appearing on her face.

I smile, "Exactly the same. Which means I'll be able to see you more. Which is awesome"

Sage laughed again, "Awesomeee." She repeated, "So what do you do for fun around here? I can never seem to find anything to stimulate myself."

I shrug, "Er, nothing reallly. There's nothing to do. I normally go on random walks and climb trees."

Sage gave him a subtly odd look, most people usually didn't talk about that kind of stuff. And most didn't share it with complete strangers. But Sage wasn't exactly one to care, "Well, I thought I was, once..." She trailed, her shoulders shrugging lightly, "What about you?"

I nodded slightly, "Uh, yeah I was...But then my heart got broken.." I said quietly.

She bit down on her lip softly and nodded. "I know how that goes..." Her head gave a nod, shoulders shrugging lightly once more. Sage definitely knew how that went. Thoughts in her head tried to enter her mind, but she simply shook them away.
