I slump down at the table with my hands over my face, kneading my forehead.
I need coffee. I need sleep. I need... to not spend half the night in the forest stewing over yet another fight.
I sigh and shake my head, reaching for some coffee just as someone else grabs it.

"Eh, no problem," I shrug, pulling my hand back and nodding at the coffeepot. "Go ahead... I can wait thirty seconds for caffeine."

Lin smiled at him. "Thanks. I'm Lin, by the way. Kinda new here." she said, picking up the coffee pot and pouring some into her cup.

"Really," I nod. "Seventh-year Slytherin, though, right?" I look around the table then and quickly grab the coffeepot, shaking my head. "Well... duh, for that last part...." I shake my head again and take a gulp of coffee, not caring how hot it is.
