brett grins and looks down at mia. "told you i was a man." he tells her. "no. your still a lizard." mia says firmly. "but yum even drink five cups of coffee... he says putting up four fingers, "i counted em." i chuckle and reach over and put one of his fingers up. "there we go..." i chuckle. "hey rowan, what would you say if this girl i know, kinda likes you?" i ask looking up at him

"Five? Really? Well, that is a lot of caffeine, no wonder she spends her time balancing pencils on her nose," I laugh.
"I would say..." I pause, thinking.
"He would say that's good because then I would have a mummy..." Poppy whispers to Yumi which meant that everyone heard because she didn't have the hang of whispering yet.
I laugh slightly, "I would say, well, that's got to be a first."

"and i need all that coffee. you haven't seen them at my job, i've got to work and make sure they don't find a way to burn the place up." i chuckle
i laugh slightly when poppy 'whispers' to me and i kiss her forehead. "a first?" i chuckle, "now see she wants to tell you, but she's kinda afraid to tell you, cos she gets kinda of weird."

"Yeah, a first, usually a woman repellent. Or so I'm told," I laugh softly, "Well, if she wants to tell me, she might as well. I mean, life's too short for what if's and all that. And what is there to be weird about? What's to be scared of?"

brett shrugs and laughs softly. "i'll pour mustard on her while she's asleep tonight." he whispers into rowans ears with a wide grin on his face.
"i don't really have anyone else. sirius has disappeared...again, and everyone else i know is either working or flooded with their own kids." i chuckle, "besides tom likes em. lets them in the empty rooms so they can be little hellions in there." i grin and switch poppy to my other side
i chuckle, "really? ian tell you that or somthin?" i chuckle, "and rowan, i'm just plain weird. so everything around me is...weird." i chuckle, "but, ok then, i've got a thing for you. but seeing as you probably don't feel that way, i still want to be friends with you. and some guys think it's awkward to still be friends...so yeah. afraid that'd mess up this short friendship thing we got goin."

brett puts on a smug smile then looks over at me. "he said i've got a good plan." brett said pointing slight at rowan.
"i laugh, "that'd be great if you could. you don't have to though, but if you want to, i'm not gonna stop you." i chuckle
then stop for a few seconds after what he says. "well...umm...i don't know..." i say with a weak smile "past expirences with guys?" i say trying to think of a reason
"do you?" i ask after a pause

i laugh, "aren't your arms getting tired yet?" i chuckle seeing he was still holding onto both of them. i look down at poppy in my arms and smile. "she is really pretty..." i say softly and rub her back lightly.
