[Charlie Owens]

The cloak's coming for me Charlie, when it does, you've got to look out for Molly, you know? Just make sure she's alright. Watch her back for her, for me, won't you? Promise?
"Promise." I mutter to myself under my breath, looking round the Entrance Hall.
I wasn't going to tell her that she was targeted, that wasn't the plan at all, just make sure she was okay right now, then see if I could do anything to make sure that guy...Jake or whatever his name was...didn't get to her in the next couple of days.
What would happen to his family if he failed was regrettable but it was either strangers or Molly and I pick Molly.
"MOLLY PREWETT! GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" I roar up the stairs.

[Molly Weasley]

"dear god charlie, i'm right here." i chuckle walking up behind him with charlie in my arms and bill walking behind me. "what's up?"

[Charlie Owens]

"Oh thank God, Molly!" I say, without thinking, just so glad she was alright, hugging her and Charlie, then leaning downa nd hugging Bill too. "You're all okay, yeah?"

[Molly Weasley]

i laugh softly and nod my head. "yeah we're ok. look i'm sorry that i can't talk or hang out but i'ev got to get home. bills a little sick and he needs to go to bed." i say "maybe we can talk later." i suggest

[Charlie Owens]

"Home?" I say, feeling sick, knowing my tone was far too uneasy but unable to do anything to change it, "Mind if I escort you home?" I try for a grin, "I can mind Charlie while you see to Bill, if you want. If he's sick, you know."

[Molly Weasley]

"no it's fine. it's an utter mess and i don't want you to get sick. i'll be fine. i've been looking after them onmy own and i can do it now. don't you have to help izzy with kim?" i ask, "i'm fine charlie." i reaasure him. "i've got to go to hogmead now so i can apparate home." i say

[Charlie Owens]

My stomach twists guiltily at the mention of Bella and Kim but I push the feeling aside, knowing this was much more important, catching her arm, before she could leave, "It's really no trouble. And if I get sick, I get sick. Let me help you, Molly, please." I force a grin and a joke, "I'll worry, do you want me worrying on your conscience?"

[Molly Weasley]

"sharlie, what' up with you?" i ask turning to him, "and please let go of my arm, your hurting me." i say softly. he was holding on really tight. "why don't you want me to get home?" i ask

[Charlie Owens]

I let go of her arm quickly, "I'm not-...nothing's wrong with me." I force a laugh, "I'm fine. Fine. Never been more fine. Absolutely brilliant, I am."

[Molly Weasley]

"god charlie stop lieing to me. if you want me to stay or you go with me please tell me. and not the fake excuse. tell me now charlie." i order getting a little worried about the whole thing

[Charlie Owens]

"Molly..." I moan, not wanting to have to say, but knowing she'd get pissed if I lied again, I sigh and lower my voice so Bill wouldn't hear or pick up on anything worrying, "You're being targeted. I met a guy in the Leaky Cauldron and he let it slip. Jake or something."

[Molly Weasley]

"w-what?" i stutter holding charlie close to me getting a bit freaked out

[Charlie Owens]

"Someone in a high place, I think we know who," I mutter, eyes finding the floor sadly, "Doesn't like you being...around. But it's okay. It's okay. I'm going to keep you okay. I promise."

[Molly Weasley]

"dear god they're still after because of that?" i groan my hands shaking. "i went out a little bit ago andgot about nine death eaters in azkaban, and i've been on their list since. i thought they stopped..." i say with a tear rolling down. "i've got two kids charlie..." i hand charlie, the baby, to charlie because i was afraid that i was going to drop him because of the my hands shaking. "charlie...this may be the first time i've admited this, but i'm terrified." i say softly and try and get my hands to stop shaking.

[Charlie Owens]

I hold Charlie to my chest, almost relieved to have someone to hold in my worry, "I'd be concerned if you weren't terrified. Just stick close to other people for a while. This is going to be okay. I promise it's going to be okay. I'll look after you, and I'll look after the kids as well. And no one is going to touch you while I'm here, okay?"

[Molly Weasley]

"charlie, that's what fay and gid told me. they got murdered." i say and sit on the steps with my head in my hands. "charlie i can't do this anymore..." i sigh trying ti get a hold on myself. "i can't put bill and charlie in danger anymore. but tey'll still be after me if i got out..."

[Charlie Owens]

"No, don't you say that." I say, voice cracking slightly with the effort of keeping it level, "Don't you say you can't do it anymore. You can. You've made it this far. And so have Bill and Charlie and they're wonderful kids and they're doing just fine. And you'll keep them just fine because you're their mother and you do and great job at it." I sit down next to her, putting a reassuring arm round her shoulders, keeping Charlie in the crook of my other arm, "It'll be okay. Just got to be careful."

[Molly Weasley]

"i thought i was being careful before. and look where i've ended up." i sigh and run a hand through my hair then bill sits in my lap. "mum?" he asks looking up at me. "char?" he asks looking up at charlie. "it's ok hun.." i say softly and stroke his hair and he lays his head on my chest. i look up at charlie with a worried look.

[Charlie Owens]

"It's alright, Bill." I reassure him, "We just got to take care of your mum. I know you already do a good job of taking care of her. So everything's gonna be just fine, right, man?"

[Molly Weasley]

bill sits up and nods his head. "my mum." he says.

[Charlie Owens]

"Good man," I say, clipping him lightly on the chin.

[Molly Weasley]

he smiles up at charlie then up at me. i smile weakly down at him. "what are we gonna do now?" i ask, "i really don't feel like going home now.." i chuckle bitterly

[Charlie Owens]

"Sorry for putting you off." I say sheepishly, "Do you have anywhere you can go? Cos there's my place, if you don't."

[Molly Weasley]

"i've got plenty of places to go. i just don't want to explain why i'm having to be there. i don't want anyone else to worry so i don't want to tell anyone." i say"i probably would have stayed at arthurs, but he's away for a few days." i say, "so no, i really don't have anywhere to go. but charlie, bill and charlie are really..well...a bit crazy at home.." i chuckle

[Charlie Owens]

"I was under the impression they were a bit crazy all the time." I smile.

[Molly Weasley]

"oh no that's the normal." i chuckle "the crazy is bring in pounds of dirst and making a wonderful mess. throwing their food at each other and starting food fights with each other, playing hide and seek with me and forget to tell me that we're playing, and breaking everything that would make a big crash" i smile "but are you sure? cos seriously i could probably find somehwere else. not really sure but i probably could"

[Charlie Owens]

"My place is covered in dirt anyway, the food is not an issue because I usually end up spilling my own food, as for the hiding well, that'll be fun, and all my valuables have already been broken by me because when I'm drunk I get very childish and do enjoy dropping things out of the window to see how far the bits and pieces spread depending on how high up you are. All in the name of science of course." I grin, "But yeah, seriously. I'm sure. It's no problem, I'd be glad of the company and I might just die of worry if I didn't know where you guys were."

i laugh softly and nod my head. "can i ask you one thing?"

[Charlie Owens]

"Anything." I nod.

[Molly Weasley]

"do you have any coffee? because i'm a bit...well let's put it this way i need cofee in the morning." i chuckle
