You've Have Got to Be Kidding

[Rodolfus Lestrange]

Rodolfus had been watching for a while now from the shadows. When it had just been the three girls he hadn't been all that concerned since Bellatrix was quite powerful and probably would have crucioed him for interfering. Now that this somewhat unstable boy had stepped in it was time for a bit of intervention.

With a flick of his wand and a muttered Incendio, he watched the blue flames spread from his wand towards the unsuspecting boy with a sense of satisfaction.

[Gideon Prewett]

I give a satisfied smirk as Black falls to the floor, which is replaced pretty quickly when torrents of blue flame engulfed me from one side.
Another one?
Brilliant.
I ducked to the floor, reducing the target I made myself and waited out the flames, hand gripped to the point of pain on my wand.

[Rodolfus Lestrange]

Satisfied that he had temporarily removed Gideon from the battle he turned to Bellatrix. With a wave of his wand and Finite Incantatem flashing through his brain he released Bellatrix from the body bind, glad this was evening things up a bit.

"Thought you could use a little help Bellatrix. It's not good for a Slytherin to lose in a fight with such pathetic Gryfindor's."

[Gideon Prewett]

"Yeah, we're the pathetic ones, Lestrange." I say scathingly, forcing myself to stand up again. "You're a coward. What kind of man strikes another from behind without even making his presence known? Which you just did to me."

[Evan Rosier]

"Stupefy." I mutter as I walk in from behind Gideon, the spell shooting out in a lash of red energy. I wasn't about to let my fellow housemates have all the fun, besides Bellatrix would throw a fit if just one of us came to her rescue.

"I love Gryffindor righteousness, didn't you do the same thing to Bella?"

[Remus Lupin]

"Stupefy." I say under my breath at Rosier, coming out of the great hall and seeing what was happening.
I wasn't going to leave my friends stupefied and otherwise indisposed with a load of snakes.
Finite Incantatetm I think, letting Gid up.

[Gideon Prewett]

"Thanks Rem." I say, forcing myself to stand up again, drawing my wand, not quite sure which one of them to keep my wand trained on so just keeping it ready by my side.

[Isabella Knox]

"Oh great." I mutter, seeing the two Slytherin guys join in.

[hiddenindarkness]

"What the hell is going on here," I screamed, "What is it, Slytherin vs Gryffindor fight in the middle of the hall day? and will somebody please get these damn snakes off of me before I get bit!" They all turned to me. "Don't stand there, do something!"

[Isabella Knox]

"Finite Incantatetm!" I say, pointing my wand at the snakes around Yuri, getting rid of them.

[Rodolfus Lestrange]

Quickly Rodolfus revived Evan. Looking warily at all the Gryffindors he had to agree that this was getting a little out of hand. His original intention had been to free Bellatrix, injure a Gryffindor or two, and get out making himself the victor. If this kept escalating the fight was going to go on till someone ended up dead or horribly maimed or a teacher came through. Given their location he was betting on the teacher.

Waving his wand he cast Expelliarmus three times in quick succession at Remus, Gideon, and Isabella. If it didn't hit at least one of them it might give Evan or Bellatrix a chance to attack.

"Fuck." I mutter as my wand flew out of my hand.
You're boned, Gid.
With my wand I stood a chance.
Thanks to mine and Fabian's brush with death, I was pretty much useless in a physical fight.

[Isabella Knox]

"Damn." I say at the same time as Gideon swears, as my wand flies out of my hand. I wasn't very good at muggle fighting, i was far too small and skinny.

[Bellatrix Black]

Bellatrix smirked when she saw Rodolfus and Evan arrive, there was now no doubt in her mind about losing this duel... if you could call it that. As she pushed her self up from where she had fallen to the ground, she spotted her wand a few feet away. Dropping the wand she had been using, that scum Gryffindor's, she darted over and scooped up her own respectable wand.

"Nice of you two to show." She said, walking over to the two of them. Turning back to the Gryffindors, she said, "Well, It looks like we have 3 armed Slytherins, against a couple un-armed Gryffindors.... hmm, how this one's going to turn out." She said sarcastically.

[Gideon Prewett]

"I wonder." I mutter dryly, shooting her a particularly nasty glance.
Don't push it Gid.

[Isabella Knox]

"You're not fighting very fair Blacky." I hiss, trying to think of a plan in my head.

[Bellatrix Black]

"Oh, I'm so very sorry." Bellatrix put on a mock sincere face. "I don't know if you've noticed this, but I don't play fair." She said in a more low, more dangerous voice.

[Isabella Knox]

"Scared of being beaten?" I taunt.

[Gideon Prewett]

"Isa." I say quickly, "No."

[Isabella Knox]

"Had to have your snakey friends come and save you." I continue, ignoring Gid's warning.

[Gideon Prewett]

"Isa." I say louder, "No."

[Bellatrix Black]

"I needed to be saved?" Bellatrix said. "Incase you haven't noticed, you still out-number us. 4 to 3. I would say I've been fighting pretty damn well by myself, but help is always welcome. Did you ever see me call them? You've been watching me the entire time." She sneered. "You really need to think before you speak. Silencio!." She added with a smirk. "But now it seems you don't have to." She gave a sinister laugh.

[Gideon Prewett]

I would help you out, Isa. But this one's for the best.
"Just leave her alone, Black." I say. "Let Isa and Cas and their friend go, alright?"

[Bellatrix Black]

Her gaze switched from Isabella to Gideon. "And why should I?" She asked. "I'm having a bit of fun with this."

[Gideon Prewett]

"Because I'm asking you to." I say calmly. "They've done nothing to you. What exactly is your problem with them?"

[Bellatrix Black]

"What is that? The Gryffindor motto? What'd I do to you?" She mocked. "That's not the way the world is, and you know it. And for your information, I don't wake up in the morning and think 'Hmm, I think I'll go Crucio some Gryffindors today.' I wait until I come across someone deserving of it." Bella sneered. "To me, if someone gets me mad, or talks back to me, I see that as deserving a good crucio or jinx, you can disagree all you want. I really don't care."

[Gideon Prewett]

"I don't expect you to care. Key difference between your sort and my sort, Black. I'm capable of giving a shit about something other than myself and my reputation. You can tell me otherwise all you want, although I know you won't. I'm sure that falls under your definition of talking back, right?" I say coolly. "And you're right. I do know it's not the way the world is. I know more than most. And I know that I'd much rather be facing off against you than the real opponents I've faced. And that was most definitely talking back."
Go now, Isa. Go now and take Cas and the other one. Just go. Fast.

I stood up and walked over to Izzy and Cassie. My wand hidden behind my back in cases anything got out of hand. 3 armed Slytherins, 1 armed Gryffindor, and 3 unarmed Gryffindors. Not a good chance that I was going to win. 'I want to wipe those smirks off so bad,' I thought, 'But then again, Bella wants to play with snakes and Crucio people, I can play that game as well, only if my friends don't get in my way.' I turned to the others with a sparkle in my eye and a grin.

[Isabella Knox]

I look at Yuri questioningly, unable to speak. I knew Gid wanted us to leave, but i wasn't about to just leave him unarmed with 3 armed Slytherins.

"Why don't we all leave, I mean why get into more trouble and draw the attention of a teacher," I said to all of them, "Besides, I am sure this little accident will be continues later at a later date."
