"How'd we get lost?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "I thought I knew my way around the castle.."

I shake my head, shrugging. "I suppose it makes a difference if you're looking where you're going or not."

"Guess so." I say still looking around.

"I don't think that I've had any classes over here," I say, shaking my head. "Or at least, not for a while."

"Same... Maybe a few years ago though.." I shrugged and looked around a little more, walking over to a wall that I remember carving my initials in, in third year.

"There aren't very many doors down this corridor at all, actually," I notice, looking around. "Mildly creepy." I shrug.

"It is.." I say with a small smile and I find where I carved my name and running my fingers over it, before turning back around to her, "We can turn around if you want?"

I shake my head, shrugging slightly. "Just creepy in a basement-when-you're-little sort of way. Not that bad." I notice him touching a spot on the wall and nod at it. "What's that?"

"Yeah it is." I say chuckling slightly looking around a bit, "Oh, in third year I carved my initials right here. Thought this corridor looked sorta familar after a little bit."

"Defacing public property at thirteen?" I ask, clucking my tongue at him. "I never would have expected that."

"Yup." I say with a small chuckle, "You should try it sometime. Anyway, It's only a couple letters."

"True...." I shrug. "And I think I have.... Or I've carved stuff into walls, at any rate. Maybe at home though rather than school."

I nod my head slightly and then shrugged, "I was bored. And now we can be delinquents together."

I laugh slightly. "You're of age though so you can't be a delinquet. Now you'd just be a criminal."

"I forgot about that.." I say with small chuckle, "You'll just have to do it for both of us then."

"Sure...." I shrug, laughing slightly, noticing suddenly how much more at ease we've been the last few minutes and trying not to think about it lest it be jinxed. "Is there anything in particular you'd like me to vandalize?"
|

"Uh... nah, go crazy." I say smiling, laughing slightly. "Just don't get caught."

"Whatever you say." I nod sharply, resisting the urge to salute and smiling slightly. "They probably don't put vandals in Azkaban, though, right?"

I shrugged, "Okay, then we'll go together. I doubt they'll let you off the hook." I shake my head slighty. "Unless you tell them I put you under the imperious curse."

I grimace slightly at those words, like a dash of unpleasantly cold water over the conversation, but I try not to le it show. "I was just going to tell them you're a bad influence, actually." I shrug.

I nod, biting my lip as I hear him stutter slightly again, then shake my head to try and get rid of the sad thoughts. It doesn't really work that way, though. "Yeah, I will," I say, managing a very small smile. "Or maybe just accept my punishment as is and leave you ot of it."

"Don't do that. I'd feel horrible." I say shaking my head slightly. "I wanna take the blame."

"Even though you wouldn't really be forcing me and I am perfectly capable of making my own decisions?" I ask, raising my eyebrows. "You shouldn't take the blame for that."

"Well, yeah. But I still wouldn't want you to." I say shaking my head a bit, raising my eyebrows slightly back, "And yes I should, I influenced you to do it." I chuckled a little at the whole conversation.

I laugh slightly at the fact that we're arguing over a hypothetical situation, but shake my head. "This is true... but I still should've known better. You shouldn't be punished for it."

"Yes I should" I say laughing slightly, "You wouldn't've done anything if it wasn't for my... amazing ability to persuade you."

|
|
Post by Arden Patricks on Jan 29, 2008 18:25:41 GMT
"Hah... please." I laugh slightly. "If you were any good at persuading me would we really argue as much as we do, seeing as you're such a pushover?"
