Bella ambled slowly across the grounds towards the forbidden forest. It was late and the sun had already started to set but she felt like she needed to clear her head for a bit. So much seemed to be happening. Her mother had passed on a few nights ago, but she had already done her mourning. She thought of her newborn daughter that was currently in the care of her beloved cousin
You're a mum Bella.
Bella shook her head, clearing her thoughts. It was hard to believe that she was actually a mum As she stepped carely into the forest her hand went into her coat pocket and wrapped round her wand.
Just in case.
The forest was dark, a lot darker that then grounds, and she squinted until her eyes adjusted to the light change. She had no idea why she had wanted to go into the forest. But it just seemed to draw her to it. Like she was meant to go there tonight. She shrugged her shoulders at her own thoughts and stepped deeper into the darkening forest.

I wander through the forest, feeling strangely relaxed for some reason. I shouldn't be relaxed, not now. There was never a time when I should be more on edge but there was something about the near complete darkness of the forest, the leaves weeping from recent rain, that made me feel alright with the world again. It wasn't all that wrong anyway. Just keep telling yourself that, Logan. I shake my head slightly. I'd heard enough from that voice lately and it had caused me a lot of trouble to say the least. There's a great rush of anger all of a sudden, followed by the dull ache that always seemed to be with me now. Remorse, I suppose, regret. I'm not sure what for though, not sure at all. Getting close to someone in the first place maybe? Or putting them in pain? I hoped it was the first one. I pause, stopping dead and tilting my head to one side as I hear quite but sure footed steps coming through the forest in my direction. Excellent. Someone to play with. A small smirk grows across my face and I'm extraordinarily relieved to have it back as I draw my wand silently, sinking back behind a tree and waiting for my prey to come into plain sight.

Bella continued to step carefully over the fallen logs and leaves in the forest. A great unease went though her suddenly, making her think it was a bad idea to come here. And it was a bad idea, especially for someone like her. Not only was she clumsy, but she was often the target for murderous wizards. Who finds it safe to go walking thorugh dark and dangerous forests, that get even darker by the minute anyway. She must be mad.
You shouldn't walk in the dark.
She stepped into a small clearing and hesitated slightly, wondering whether she should head back or not. She had a brand new reason to live right now, so she really shouldn't be putting herself in any danger. She gripped her wand tightly in her hand and turned around, wanting to get out of there.

My smirk grows even wider as I recognise her although it takes a moment for the name to fall back into place. It'd been a while after all. My fingers curl firmly around my wand, ready. But then she turns back around. I narrow my eyes slightly, that was no fun, it meant I'd have to make my move now or trail her back which I didn't have the patience to do. I sigh softly, moving swiftly forward and out of the shade. It's still prey, even if you can't spook her first. "Isa..." I grin, "It's been so long."

Bella jumps when she hears someone speak through the darkness. She then freezes when she reconises the voice. The one person she most feared. A shiver of fear ran down her spine and she shuddered. She couldn't have this right now. She had a daughter to think about. She couldn't die now. She had to get away.
Fight or flight?
After a few short moments, that in her mind lasted a lot longer, she finally got her legs to work, and she bolted through the trees. Running as fast as she could in any direction, her wand clutched tightly in her hand.
Don't let him get you.
Her foot caught a tree root and tripped her up, making her spiral through the air before landing a few feet away. She scrambled to her feet, not bothering to check if she was hurt. She just needed to get away. She looked around her, and couldn't see any patches of light. She didn't know which way led her out.
Fight Bella, fight.
She turned around and stood her ground, her wand held tightly as she faced the way she had come, waiting.

I laugh as she runs. For some reason, the chase amused me more than the catch. It was funny to watch people run. Unless I had to think about it, unless Arden made me think about it, and then it wasn't remotely funny. But in this frame of mind, it was hilarious. I jump easily over a dead log, following her swiftly through the trees by the loud crash as she stumbled through the undergrowth. This was turf I understood. I pause, as I hear a thud and the noises stop and allow a slow grin to spread across my face. Perfect. By the sound of her breathing, which was louder and faster than normal due to the run through the trees, I quickly realise where she is, and emerge into the same clearing with my wand flexing between my fingers. "Well, that was a waste of time, no?" I ask.

Bella tried to keep as still as possible, trying to control the shaking. She was scared. No terrified. She hears him approaching, her breathing heavy, but not just because of the run, or the fall. She closed her eyes for a small moment, wishing she wasn't here, anywhere but here. She felt so stupid. Everything bad happens in the forest, what on earth possessed her to go there tonight, of all nights. She shouldn't be here, she should be at home with her daughter.
I don't want to die.
She watches his figure come through the trees. There was nothing she could do now, there was no one to help her. Not this time, and she knew it. "I thought you liked a good chase." She replied, not able to put any emotion in her voice, she was too busy trying not to sound as scared as she was.

"Have to be in the mood, you know?" I reply easily, glancing her up and down briefly. I couldn't remember anyone being so scared before, maybe because my usual victims were good at hiding it and the other victims didn't get a second encounter. But it was refreshing, invigorating...this was what being a death eater was all about. A real one that is. "Don't you think wondering in the forest at night is a little cliched, Isa?" I ask, raising an eyebrow, smirk still ever present, "Perfect place to meet your maker."

Yet you always seem to be in the mood to torture and murder innocent people. Bella felt sick, she knew this would most likely be her lat encounter with Logan, her last encounter with anyone. Her stomach churned uncomfortabley but not out of illness or hunger. She was flat out scared. She didn't want Logan's face to be the last one she ever saw. "I guess it was a little stupid of me." She sighed. She didn't want to play games. She was tired of playing games. "I don't want to die Logan." She said outloud, though knowing it would probably just amuse him.

"More than a little," I nod, watching her carefully. It was clear that she wasn't going to co-operate, wasn't going to play. That was no fun at all. You could make her play... Not yet, not yet. I smirk slightly, "I don't think anyone does. But the fragility of human life and all, futility as well. I doubt you'd miss much if you were dead. But I don't know, I've never died," I pause, tilting my head slightly, "Soooo, Isa, you have reason to live now? Even after dear old GiddyGiddy Prewett copped out and left you?"

Bella looked down at her feet, she felt so stupid, she wanted to cry in self pity, but she wasn't going to. She'd done enough crying to last her a lifetime, and she wasn't going to give Logan the satisfaction. She bit her lip at her next comment, his words hurting more than he could hurt her physically. She lifted her head and looked him in the eye. "Yes, in fact i do." She said strongly, or as strongly as she could in that moment.

"I thought it was supposed to cripple you for life," I pause thoughtfully, turning my wand idly between my fingers, "Losing love. The agony, smiles that haunt you, other such trivial nonsense. Or maybe love isn't all it's cracked up to be." I pause again, and then shrug, deciding I don't actually care and have nothing more to say on the subject. "Soooo, pretty Isa, what's your reason?"

Bella tried not to listen to his words, she knew he was just trying to mess with her head. She shook her head slightly, trying to block out his words before she thought about them too much, she knew if that happened, she'd be in far too much pain and wouldn't care whether she lived or died.
Don't let him get to you Bella. Ignore him.
She heard his last words and glared at him. "Like i'm going to tell you." She sneered.

I smirk softly, seeing that she wasn't going to let me get to her this way. I must have left it too late to get in remarks about Prewett, when she's expecting it at least. "You're not going to tell me...not going to tell me..." I say to myself, "But my interest has been piqued...I wish to be told now. I don't like people keeping secrets from me." I keep my eyes on my wand as it turns in my hands, pretending to be focusing on the wood between my fingers rather than her, despite my full attention being alert for the slightest movement.

Bella clenched her jaw tightly and made sure her grip on her own wand was secure. She wasn't going to let him get to her, she wasn't going to tell him anything. If he knew about Genevieve... She shook her head slightly and glared at him again. "I'm not telling you anything." She replied before locking her jaw again. She wasn't going to give in this time, not matter what he did to her. Her daughter was at stake.

"We'll see about that Isa," I smirk amusedly, shaking my head and chuckling hollowly, "We'll see what you have to tell me, don't you worry." I raise my wand swiftly, allowing very little but still adequate time for her to prepare herself, Crucio.

Bella squeezed her eyes shut and clench her jaw as hard as she could. She wasn't going to cry out in pain, not this time. She wasn't going to give him the satisfaction. The curse made her feel like her bones were breaking. Every nerve ending in her body was on fire. Tears ran down her face, but she couldn't lift her arm to wipe them away. Think about Gen, don't crack, don't give in.
