You keep apologizing. Stop. A voice in my head told me.
Well it IS her fault. Another one silently argued.

I grabbed one of his hands and started walking up to the school, this time facing where I was going.
I hope, I started to think, but pushed it far out of my mind, not wanting to face what might happen.

I squeezed her hand as she took mine and walked forward with her. As we walked I looked over to her for a second and then back to the ground, still saying silent, trying to push everything out of my mind, not wanting to think about it.

"You know," I started, putting on a smile, one with fake happiness, "I was thinking that I might want to meet your family?" I asked, bringing it up even though I only thought about it a couple times, I was just sick of the silence. I was actually scared about it.

I nodded, "I think I'm pretty sure." I said and gripped his hand tightly for a minute. "I'm as ready as ever anyways." I said and chuckled lighlty.
