I grinned widely and then burried my head in my arms, letting my eyes peek over and staring out at the lake still. "Well, thanks." I said, it coming out muffled by my arms.

I nodded. "I've been." I said and paused not sure how to answer this. Wanting to have the wedding as soon as we could because I know I'm going to die soon? I thought and shook my head. "I've been great." I said, lying and knowing that only a person that was really close to me could read that it was a lie.

I frown slightly again, letting out a silent sigh. It's obvious there's something on her mind that's bothering her, but apparently she doesn't want to talk about it. I pick up a small bunch of grass and start tearing it into confetti.

I look down at my hands, suddenly worried as what she's saying really sinks in. But words continue to fail me, so I just shake my head. Be careful and don't get hurt... but I guess it's a little too late for that.
