Over The Water

[Amiee Parker]

Amiee gazed out at teh lake, hands folded across her stomach lightly. The sun was about to set, and she could see the moon already coming through the evening clouds.
She looked around at the people still out at teh lake, like herself, but saw very few people.
It had gtten cloder around. Always seemed to happen in the first few weeks of December.
Amiee looked down at herself, and smiled slightly. She was start to show. Just a little, but it was there.
Her tiny little baby bump.
She smiled slightly again and pulled her jacket around herself tighter as the wind picked up.
She had everything planned out. What house it would be in, what color it's hair would be, the clothes she was going to dress it in.
Everything. Except the name.
Amiee couldn't decide.
She shrugged lightly and looke dback out. There was a piar of swans swimming out.
Odd... She though. Swans normally weren't out this time of year. Then again, Hogwarts is normal is it?
Amiee nodded slightly in agreement with her thoughts and watched as the two birds moved gracefully over the water.

[Sammie Santi]

Sammi moved her hair from the front of her face, and let out a long sigh as the wind swept by. She noticed the girl sitting at the lake, Sammi however was leaning against a nearby tree. She let her gaze travel with the girls to the lake, swans? she thought watching them go along their way,"Strange sight this time of year, eh?" She asked the girl, not sure if she would know the comment was directed towards her, seeing as she was one of the only one's out she figured that she would get it.

[Amiee Parker]

"Really strange.." amiee nodded, with a small smile. "Never know what to expect here."

[Sammie Santi]

"Nope, you never do."She sighed.
"I guess that is one thing you've got to love about Hogwarts...it keeps you on your toes."
Sammi shifted her weight to her other foot,"I'm Sammi."
She informed her looking out across the lake at the swans.

[Amiee Parker]

"I like it. Changeing, it works with me. Most of teh time." Amiee says with a small smile. she looks over at the girl, "Amiee Parker." She said tot he girl. "You know you can come and sit if you want."

[Sammie Santi]

Sammi nodded and pushed herself off of the tree.
"Nice to meet you."she said holding out her hand as she made her way down to the ground.

"Nice to meet you to." I smile shaking her hand. "You new around here?" I ask

[Sammie Santi]

"Yeah, I am. Nice looking place so far, can't say the same about the people. Haven't met any of 'em."
