April walked out onto the grounds and headed towards the lake. It was past midnight. She loved coming out here. For many reasons. She made her way, as she looked up at the moon. Star gazing but kept look out for anything she could bump into. After a few minutes, she made it to the lake. She sat down beside it and laid on her front. Moving her finger through the water gently. What a day... She thought to herself. Watching her reflection in the water.

Gabriel sat by the lake in silence, thinking out his cousin. He was so still, that in the darkness he probably wouldn't be noticed by anyone. It was weird sat by the lake at midnight. He used to have to sneak out of bed and past Filch to get out onto the grounds. But now he was free to go where he pleased. He lifted his head and looked up at the stars, wondering how many there actually were and why they seemed to twinkle so much.

You really are a kid at heart aren't you.

He was worried about his cousin. He still hadn't seen her and he'd been here for a few days. He had learnt that she'd suffered severe loses this year, and he felt bad that he hadn't been there for here. He brought his head back down to look back at the lake. He saw movement in the corner of his eye and turned his head to see what it was. He realised he wasn't the only one that liked midnight wanderings.
"Careful the Squid doesn't get a hold of you." He joked softly to the girl, hoping not to startle her too much.

April turned as she heard a voice and smiled, "I wouldn't worry. I play with him most of the time," She grinned.
"Sorry, I'm April, April Woods,"

[Gabriel Hart]

Gabriel laughed quietly. "That's alright then, as long as he knows you." He grinned at her. He remembered a kid when he went to school was left traumatized after swimming too far into the lake and getting pulled under by the squid. It was lucky a teacher was nearby or it could have turned into a tragedy instead of a funny story.

You don't normally find people's pain funny. But then again, he did get attacked by a giant squid, ha ha.

He held out his hand for her to shake. "Nice to meet you April. I'm Gabriel, Gabriel Hart." He greeted with a warm smile. "So what brings you out so late?" He asked curiously.

April grinned and shook his hand, "Pleasure, Gabriel. Love the name. So unsual..." She said softly. "Just really bored and love the night time..." She replied, it was only half right No knew her secret. Thank god it isn't full moon tonight..

"Thanks." Gabriel grinned, when he was younger he used to hate his name. But that was mostly because the muggle children in his primary school used to tease him about it. But when he went to Hogwarts he realised it wasn't that bad, and he actually came to liking it.

Yeah, no one nicknaming you Gay anymore.

At her next words he smiled and looked up at the skies. "Yeah, the night is pretty awesome." He grinned. "I'm no astronomer, but i like looking at the stars."

April grinned, "Anytime..." She said softly, looking up at the stars. "Yeah, me niether. But oh well. No one needs to be a professional to look at stars.."

"That, i must say is very true." Gabriel grinned. "And plus, i personally think that if you look too much into things, it ruins the whole magic of it all." He added tearing his gaze from the stars to smile cheerfully at April. "Or maybe that's just me being lazy." He finished with a small chuckle.

There are lazier people than you. You're usually up at half six in the morning.

"So what house are you in Miss Woods?" He asked curiously, not that it mattered to him. When he was at Hogwarts, he had made friends with people in all houses. Even the ones in Slytherin.

April returned his smile, "I'm in Gryffindor, Mr Hart. A 7th year at that"
She said softly, "Graduated, you must be? For you looks and smiling lips," She winked, grinning.

[Gabriel Hart]

"Ah a Gryffindor. I've always liked that house. Kind, loyal and brave people in it." Gabriel smiled. "My favorite cousin is in Gryffindor. She's a seventh year too. But i haven't seen her in over a year." He added, finishing with a guilty looking smile.

You have been away saving innocent people's lives. Cut yourself some slack for once.

Gabriel chuckled and winked back. "Right you are my dear. Graduated Ravenclaw at your service. Currently an auror for the Ministry of Magic." He grinned, proud of his job. "Any nasty witches or wizards bothering you, i'm the one to call."

April smiled, "Nice. Wonder if I'll meet her," She said grinning at his wink. "That is very nice to know. No one at the moment. But I'm sure I'll call you if there is,"

"I hope you do, she's very nice. She's like a female version of me i suppose." Gabriel grinned. When him and Bella were together they were almost like twins. Except he was somehow even more hyper and full of energy than she was. Their relatives often called them the 'gruesome twosome' because they were always a double-act and the life of any family get together.

The family seems to be getting smaller and smaller these days.

Gabriel smiled. "And i'll be sure to kick some butt." He chuckled. "So what are you planning to do once you leave here?" He asked with honest curiousity.

April grinned, and then shrugged, "I dunno really. Wouldn't mind being a Vet," She replied.

[Gabriel Hart]

"A vet? That's cool." Gabriel smiled. He liked that idea. It was nice to know that some people in the world still did care about animals. "What kind, normal or magical animals?" He asked, wondering what each one would be like. He had never really thought of any other job he'd like to do, except be an auror. He suddenly realised how many other options there were. But he knew that fighting dark people was what he did best, and he enjoyed it too.

April grinned even more, "Hm, not quite sure. Wouldn't mind doing either. I just love animals.." She replied looking at a bird fly past. "Have you thought of what you want to be?" She asked, she was really curious. Especially for someone like him.

"That's cool, animals are cute and need looking after, someone like you would do a good job at it. I can tell." Gabriel smiled at her warmly. "What if i were an animal?" He asked, slightly confused by her question. "Or what job i'd like to do?"

April laughed, "Job...But actaually that was a cool question. What animal would you like to be aswell?" She grinned widely at him.
