I stare into Lily's eyes and take a deep breath. 'It's now or never!' I get down on one knee, get the ring box out of my pocket and start talking.
"Lily Evans, I have loved you since the first time I saw you. Even though we are both really young and you probably don't like me all that much, but will you marry me?"
There I finally said it. What I've been waiting to say for a few months now but never had the guts.

Lily's mouth dropped. 'Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!' her mind was screaming. "I- Y- Oh my g-" She stuttered. "YES!" She shouted, and flund her arms around James neck. Her thoughts were still racing, and she could barely believe it was happening... but she was glad it was.

My mouth dropped open in surprise. I'd expected her to slap me or something. "O..ok," I say and place the ring on her finger.
