I sat at the small table in the kitchen that Lin had bought. She was out and Joe was still asleep on the couch where him and I had fallen asleep last night. I had sent Riyann a letter to come and pick up Jake.
As I gazed down at Jake I smiled. He was awake now, but he was calm, just looking up at me.
"Hey baby boy.." I say softly to him still holding him close.
A very small up turn of the lips came on his face and I could tell he was triyng to smile.
I gave him a big grin and waited for Riyann to come and pick him up.

I got up extra early this morning, letting out a few extra yawns before getting ready.
Grinning I appeareated to Erin's flat, just like she'd asked me to. I was going to look after Jake for the day. I hadn't gotten the chance to see him yet and was grinning widely. Stepping up to the door I knocked lightly, waiting for someone to open the door.

I hear someone knock and know it's Riyann. grin and making sure I have a good hold on Jake I walk over and open teh door, my grin getting bigger as I see her.

I grinned when I saw Erin, grinning wider as I saw Jake. "So this is the little cutie that I'm taking care of?" I asked, looking at him, smiling, sticking my finger out and chuckling softly as his small fingers wrapped around it tightly.

"Little Jake Ryan." I repeated. "He's a cute one." I added, shaking his hand with my one finger. "So what's all going to happen now?" I asked wanting to get it cleared and grinning.

"Thanks..." I grin. "Joe," I say nodding towards his leeping form, "Were going to keep him but when we had gone to buy the baby things were remebered why we were terrified. So if you and Riley still want to go with the orignal plan., we can go with that."

"Yeah..Me and Joe know that it's the best thing to do and we need to. We have a lot to learn." I say to her, smileing. "Joe's Jakes dad." I tell her in case she didn't know.

I chuckled. "It's understandable." I said. "Just come over ever so often to get better used to it." I said and grinned down at Jake. "Do you have anything for him yet?" I asked curiously.

"I'm going to be coming a lot, don't worry." I chuckle. I stop and look down at Jake. "Er...Joe and I kind of freaked out when we tried baby shopping. We got a crib, diapers and milk and bottles...Well I had gone and got everything else but the crib this morning when I noticed that I need it."

I chuckled. "Well that's a start." I said, grinning down at Jake. "I'll get stuff as I think of it." I add, not sure what else aside from toys and biting rings that he could need, that and a blanket and clothes.

I chuckled and shook my head. "I've got it, don't worry." I said, "It won't be much more that he needs." I said looking at her. "Just be at the wedding." I said, hoping she'd come, I didn't have many friends, and well for the ones I did, I wanted them to be there.

I nodded, "Yup." I said and took Jake out of her arms, kissing him lightly and getting used to holding him. "Do you want me to come over here with him everyday?" I asked, wondering, because Riley and I didn't yet have a home, although we were going to soon. "Look at mommy." I whispered in Jake's ear and pointed to Erin, having him look at her, "See there's mommy." I added, bouncing him up and down a bit, chuckling as he let out a small laugh that still didn't sound to much of anything since he was still just a new born.

Looking back at Jake I shook my head lightly. "Now, why'd you do that?" I asked him jokingly. "Be nice to mommy and daddy." I said, looking back to Erin. "Well I can go if you'd like so you can get some sleep." I suggested. "Bring Jake and Riley around here again later, unless Riley's busy, then I'll stop by and meet Joe." I said and grinned.

"Yeah sleep sounds good." I chuckle then look down at Jake. "Be good for Aunt Riyannokay baby?" I mummer softly to him and kiss his forehead lightly. "Yeah think Joe would like to meet you." I grin.
