Briar looked down at the coffin holding the lifeless corpse, a small tear falling down her pale cheek. "I'm sorry Logan..I-..I couldn't stop him," She whispered, looking down at the ring. "Shelby found the note and the ring. I would have said yes in a heart beat." She smiled slightly, wiping the tears that had been falling away.
Jennifer. "I know you won't be able to answer but, why me? Shelby is her mum, so..why not her?" She asked quietly. "But, even though she's not mine, I'll take care of her. For you." After those words, she stayed silent, just looking at the corpse.

I walk into the room. "Now, I want you to be quiet okay, for Logan?" I say to Zoe and Ashlyn. I smile at them and look up. "Briar's here...of course she is..." I say with a slight smile. I walk up to the coffin and look at him with a few tears running down my face. "Hey Briar..." I say putting an arm around her waist.

I laugh slightly, but stop in a second. "I didn't mean to scare you Briar..." I say now as I watch Zoe and Ashlyn look at Logan. "I wish I could bring him back for you Briar..." I sigh and rest my head on her shoulder.

I smile. "She loves broccoli for some reason..." I say with a laugh. "Jenny I mean. How long have you been here?" I ask her as now Zoe starts to cry.

"A few minutes," Briar said, kneeling down to Zoe's height. She grabbed the small girls hand and pulled her into a hug, mumuring "Shh, it's okay," many times in Zoe's ear.

Zoe hugs Briar tightly. "Why he go?" she mumbles into her ear. I sit down with Ashlyn in my lap just watching Briar and Zoe.

"I don't know, Zoe, I don't know," She whispered. Briar wiped the tears off the small girls cheeks and smiled slightly, "But I know the he wouldn't want you," She poked Zoe's tummy, "To be crying."

I laugh. "Are you gonna stay here longer? I've been here for the past 3 days or so..." I say to her as she played with the engagement ring. I smile slightly at it. "What would you of said?" I ask her softly, as I felt my own ring against my collar bone.

"He told me something once. He invited me over and we talked about our futures, mostly his, he wouldn't let me have a turn..." I say with a smile as I look at him for a second. "He said that he wanted to have about three to five kids with you..." I say looking at her.

"He wanted four or five boys..." I say laughing. "He was devasted when Jennifer was born, he had the name picked out and everything..." I say trying not to laugh even harder. "The name was Henry Adam..." I say smiling instead of laughing.

I smile. "He loved kids, that's why when I came to Hogwarts I gave my custody to because I knew I wouldn't be able to take care of her at first here..." I say softly. "I honestly feel horrible when I can take care of 3 kids here though..." I whisper to her for Zoe and Ashlyn couldn't hear.
