"Quiet baby," Morgan laughed softly, absently stroking the side of her daughters face with one finger as she sifted through the box in front of her with the other hand. Erin gurgled laughingly, grabbing hold of her finger and jamming it in her mouth. "Silly girl," She grinned, picking her up in the crook of her arm and rocking her softly, getting up off her knees and carrying her through to the other room. She laid her down gently in the cot, murmuring reassurances. She knew there was no way she'd get anything done with Erin there. She was moving back into Will's old place because he'd left it to her. And they really needed a home. She was still in the process of unpacking however because she kept getting distracted. It was hard not to be distracted by a miracle. It hurt to be so close to Will's memory, he'd left his mark all around the whole place. In the spiritual sense, but also in the physical one. Her eyes wandered up to the wall above the cot where 'Will was here' was scrawled in black marker. She laughed quietly even though it ached. 'Row was here better' was scrawled next to it in a different colour. There were too many memories of the both of them here. But she wanted her daughter to get a chance to be where her parents had been together. Was that so much to ask? She already looked like her father. Her eyes; the same wide blue and her skin the same pale. Unlike Row, her hair was thin and easily knotted. Just like Will's. It probably would have been the same colour, if it weren't for the metamorphmagi gene. That was something she'd got from her mother at least. It was obvious as not many babies had bright blue hair when they were born. Now however, it was a deep mauve. She waited until her eyes drifted shut before creeping silently back into the living room, going back to one of the boxes full of things she'd wanted to move in with her. Pictures and clothes and small keepsakes. Her hands and heart stalled for a moment as she came across a picture of Will attempting to hold still a struggling Ian. She could remember taking that one, against his will of course. There was a knock at the door and she leapt to her feet, yanking it open before they could knock again, determined not to let it wake up Erin. She relaxed and grinned when she saw who it was, "Hello."

"Hello," My smile cracks slightly and I'm sure it's unconvincing. I hope that I can pin this on the fact that I'm upset over Will and that being back at his place is making the feeling worse. I wish that was the problem. I'd been avoiding Row for days, for her safety. But Logan had made sure his will was done. I'd considered trying to throw off or snap out of the Imperius curse that he'd caught me under, but I knew my willpower wasn't strong enough. I wouldn't be able to get rid of it if the threat of something happening to Maddie or Alex or both was hanging over me if I did. My plan to avoid her hadn't gone well either, it was hard to stay away and I knew she was hurt by the sudden and inexplicable distance but I was sure I could have kept it up. If it weren't for Logan's order to speed things along. He didn't want her alive anymore because of Erin. Because Erin was half-blood and also his niece and he couldn't have that. He decided he might get a kick out of forcing me to do this instead of him and that was that. In case any of this has shown across my face, I pull her into a brief loose hug.
[ooc-i like the ironic title. ;D ]

She hugs him back loosely, surprised by the rare and unprompted show of affection. Then laughs softly, putting her hand to his forehead, "Are you feeling okay?" She bit her lip a moment, then added sincerely, "You actually do look quite ill," but her tone brightened again, "And in all the time I've known you I have never been greeted with a hug before."
[[You love it. =) ]]

I laugh weakly, "I'm fine Row. I just missed you, is that such a crime?"
[ooc-but of course.]

"Okay, there is definitely something wrong with you," She laughs softly, keeping her voice low so as not to wake Erin. Then she realised she was keeping him on the doorstep and hopped gracefully back over the threshold, "Come in, come help me. I'm unpacking boxes. I found one full of photos. That one of you and Will, remember?" She spoke over her shoulder on her way back to the boxes, not waiting for him to enter before she turned her back.

"I remember, yeah," I take advantage of her back being turned to close the door and lock it tight with one fluid motion. I feel sick to my stomach. I watch her practically skip across the room and I feel even worse, but I keep smiling, moving to kneel on the other side of the box that was already open, "You've got a lot of photo's Row. Where'd you get so many?"
[ooc-pfft, well we have to share internet access so we have no choice. quite annoying though.]

"'Member that phrase I went through of having to take photo's of anything and everything? Like the man in the shop down the street that picked his nose...and the roof...and that catterpillar..." She stopped, deciding he's probably gotten the point by now, "Well, yeah, that's where they came from." She digs through the box a little, then stops as she catches sight of one of her and Erin, smiling sadly and turning it round to show him, "Look. Seems like ages ago."
[[Haha, I know. I'm just going to have her be extra unpleasant to Ian before he's really evil and all.]]

"It was ages ago," I remind her, taking the photo without first considering what it'll do to me. It's not as bad as I expect, although the pain is almost crippling. I keep hold of it for a moment, then set it down quickly as if it's burning through my skin. "Got any other boxes you need help with?" My voice is slightly strained, as if I'm really saying 'Any other box besides that one'.
[ooc-lmao, i noticed. evil woman.]

She glances up at him with a sheepish smile. She hadn't really thought about that. "Mhm-mhm, there's one by the door that is a pretty safe one," She rose to her feet and skipped over there, hauling it up in her arms, then frowning slightly, "The door's locked. Did you lock the door when you came in?" She didn't quite get why he'd do this, but it didn't particularly worry her. She seemed to have some vague memory about the lock being faulty anyway so it probably locked itself. She shifted the box into the crook of her arm, making to unlock it again. She didn't like doors being unlocked when they didn't have to be.

"Don't," I'm on my feet, with my wand raised, and without thinking about the repercussions, "Leave it like that."

She frowned slightly, dropping her hand and wrapping it back around the box so she wouldn't drop it. She was used to him acting weirdly, strange safety measures she didn't get that made perfect sense to him. She figured he was in trouble with someone again and didn't want to risk them coming here. "Is there danger?" She asked casually, tilting her head to one side, "Like...out there?"

"No," I shake my head slowly, keeping my wand raised even though she's already dropped her hand, "It's already in here."

"Already...?" Her grip tightens slightly and she glances around as if she's going to see some big black cloud of evil personified. She looks back to him with wide eyes, taking a few steps forward and then crossing the room faster as fear mounts in her chest. She knew she could trust Ian, no matter what. He wouldn't have let someone bad in here without a plan to do something. He wouldn't. "Ian...?"
[[Lmao, I love fucking her about. This is fun. ;D ]]

My nerve disappears completely, and I lower my wand again, but keep it firmly in my grip for when I know that I'll have to do it. "It's alright Row," I mumble, seeing how scared I've made her, "I'm getting you worked up over nothing. It's okay." This seemed to do little for her, so I wrap my arms round her and pull her closer to me as if I'm protecting her. I keep her back to my chest so I don't have to meet her eyes and I can have an excuse for having my wand close to her, ready. I can remember her telling me she was scared of dying on her own. This is the one that's left that I can still protect her from. I know I'll be here.
[ooc-i know!]

She sinks backwards against him, feeling a little safer although not totally at ease. He was acting very strangely today. "Are you okay?" She touched her hand very lightly to the back of his, "You're being very strange."

"I'm okay," I say softly. Tears are springing to my eyes and I'm almost ashamed by them. Almost. But I know they're justified. "I love you Row," I say quietly, releasing one of my arms so I can fiercely rub my palm against one side of my face where some of the tears have spilled over. "I really do."
[ooc-couldn't resist making it a little bit emotional...]

"Ian, are you-...?" There was no denying that she was now very alarmed. She could swear she'd seen him cry when she'd glanced back at him and that was something she had never ever seen before. She didn't finish the sentence though. Something was very very wrong, and she didn't want to pry too much. So she just shifted around in his arms and hugged him tightly, burrying her head in his shoulder and mumbling, "I love you too."
[[Softie. lol.]]

Do it...now. There's no escaping the authority in the tone of voice that the Imperius curse has put in my head. If I could go back and do this again, I would have cursed Logan before he got a chance to put this curse on me. Or I would go back and do anything...I would rather kill myself than be here right now. I'd glady turn away and walk out of the door to throw myself from a tall building...but now the will is too strong and I can't force myself to move away from her. I just hold her closer, mumbling the same thing over and over again, "I love you Row." My hand shakes and I'm sure she'd be able to feel me lifting my arm around her back, the slight flick of my wrist so my wand is aimed directly at the base of her spine. I'm not sure if this'll help, but I hope it will. I hope it'll make it quicker or easier or painless or something. I pray to a God that I don't believe exists that this is the case. I brush my lips lightly against the top of her head, "I'm so sorry Morgan." Avada Kedrava.
[ooc-lol, softie says she who cries her eyes out upon reading this thread back to herself. lmao.]

She looks up, alerted by the use of her first name and it clicks into place. The danger is here...the danger is him. She feels his arm move and she knows she should run as fast as she can away; but she clings closer to him frightened. He's never let her down before, he can protect her. He can protect her from himself. Or not. She stiffens as the curses runs up her spine, and then collapses in a crumpled heap against him, dead.
[[Hehe. It was emotional. Anyways, I leave this account with 666 posts, how cool is that? But manyways. Say goodbye to Morgan kiddies! lol.]]
