Jacqueline stumbled out of her room, wrapping her brother hoodie which she'd skillfully nicked a few days ago, tighter around her and stifling a yawn.
Due to 'family troubles', Nathan had seen fit to take her and her sister out of school for a few days to spend time at home. But this wasn't even home anyway so it seemed like a pointless endeavour. But Jacqueline wasn't stupid, she knew her brother, and she knew he just wanted the family to be closer together again in an attempt to stop it falling apart.
She padded softly down the stairs and into the living room, curling up on window seat and looking out at the grounds. It was refreshing to see them so early in the morning, and without Jack passed out on the lawn. They were all probably still asleep. Or pretending to be in Nathan's case. Or not at all and just wondering around muttering about 'men' in Rory's. She smiled a little to herself and stretched her arms up above her head with a yawn, before returning her gaze to the window.
