Can't be happening...{Riyann}

[Riley Pearson]

"Do you remember who.. killed, you?" I asked her pausing for a second before saying that word, not liking it.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shook my head with a sigh. "I don't remember anything." I said. "I just remember it being all blank and then opening my eyes sitting back there for hours." I said and rubbed my neck some more.

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded slightly, noticing her rubbing her neck more than she had been doing before. I looked a bit closer and saw, what looked to be a deep cut, thinking about what I wanted to do to whoever had killed her when I found out who it was. "I'm finding out who did this..." I tell her sounding determined.

"Riley don't." I said, wanting to drop my hand from my neck, but knowing that the burn would just be worse. "Promise me." I whispered, finally dropping my hand and then looking at him. "Please."

[Riley Pearson]

I looked in her eyes as she asked me to promise her and paused for a few moments, not wanting to say I would. But after staring at her a bit longer, I nodded my head slightly, "Okay.. I promise, if I find out who it was.. I won't go after him.." I said, almost regretting it afterwards, thinking about how I'd almost rather be a ghost too.

I nodded, giving him a small smile. "Thank you." I whispered, wanting to hug him. "Thanks." I said again and sat there, holding myself from just reaching out to him.

I kept my eyes on her, them still looking sad, then seeing her smile, and making me smile slightly for the first time since I found out. I nod my head slightly, wishing more than anything that I could touch her.

"What now?" I asked, not knowing what to say and having nothing to do but distance myself from the one thing I didn't want to distance myself from.

I shake my head slightly, breaking eye contact with her and standing up. I took a deep breath and walked slowly over to her body. Tears falling again now that I saw her lying there. I brushed my hand over her cheek, and stared at her, another tear falling onto her. I shook my head slightly againg and took a few steps back going to sit next to Riyann, not knowing what to do either.

I silently watched Riley get up and walk over to the coffin. Seeing him look down at my body and touch my cheek made me almost feel jealous to see it happen, almost as if it were someone different he was doing it to because I couldn't feel it, but I shook the feeling out of my head and looked away until he sat beside me. "I'm scared." I whispered, remembering those words before I left Arden. I held onto that memory, trying not to lose it and trying to figure it all out, but I only remember seeing her before going to HQ.

[Riley Pearson]

I looked over to her when she said she was scared and wanted to hold her now more than any other time I had thought that. I turned my body toward her and put my arm around the back of the chair she was sitting in, "Every-Everything's gonna be okay.." I say to her, wanting to comfort her.

I nodded, wanting to believe he was right, but I knew he wasn't. I was stuck here to see everything just pass me by, and he'd be a part of it. I pulled my feet up onto the chair with me and brought me knees to my chest, burring my head in them, crying again.

Seeing her like this made my heart break even more than it already was broken.
"I wish I was with you right now... really with you.." I said, hoping she'd understand what I had meant. "Not just sitting here, wishing I could hold onto you." I added, truly wishing I was dead. Something I never thought I'd think to myself.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I nodded, but keeping myself burried in the tight ball. "As much as I want that too, I hope it never happens." I said quietly, hoping he'd know what I meant.

[Riley Pearson]

I look away from her for a moment, "..I kind of do." I say silently, fidgeting with my hands.

I shook my head, wondering if I'd heard him right. But seeing him fidgeting with his hands only told me I had heard right. "Riley, you can't be," I started. "No." I demanded. "Y-you can't." I said shakily.

[Riley Pearson]

"Why not?" I asked her looking up from my hands a slightly, "I don't want this."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I got up from where I was sitting, standing infront of Riley, not wanting to sit there and pretend it was alright anymore or try and make it seem that way. "Riley." I said, kneeling infront of him and putting my face next to his, knowing he'd feel the coldness. "I don't want this either." I said bitterly as I put my hand on his chest, making it go through somewhat. "To not be real anymore. I don't want it." I said pulling back and away from him, my arm burning lightly from the touch. "I can't do anything." I said quietly, trying to pick up a pin off the floor. "You have no idea and you won't want this." I said, stepping back away from him again.

[Riley Pearson]

I felt my eyes burning again and leaned my arms down on my legs, putting my hands on my head as I sat there. I felt her near to me and it was an odd sensation feeling her hand go slightly through my chest. I knew she was right, I probably wouldn't want it either once I had it. "It's just anything seems like it'd be better than now." I say hot tears burning slightly as they fell down my face.

"It's not." I said simply, wanting to hug him as he started to break down again and looked at him. Not being able to do anything hurt even more. "Riley." I whispered, coming back over to him. "Please don't." I said, referring both to the crying and his want to die and be with me. Tears came down again, and I could almost feel them, almost taste them against my lips, but I knew it was just memory.

I looked up to her and took in another shaky breath, trying to stop the crying that had just started again. I wiped my eyes, then seeing her starting to cry again. I put my hand back to her cheek and tried to brush away a few tears, the remembering I couldn't and taking my hand back, nodding slightly, even though I didn't want to.

[Riyann Servansikk]

"Why's it got to be this hard?" I asked, feeling my weightless body fall on the floor, but stopped myself from falling through it. "Why?" I whispered, curling into a ball again, wanting to be real more then anything that I ever wanted.

[Riley Pearson]

I shaked my head slightly, not knowing the answer and sit down on the floor next to her, "We'll try to bring you back."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I just nodded, laying there and crying, feeling Riley next to me and closed my eyes. "Promise me." I said slowly, "Promise me you'll never leave me alone." I whispered as I tried to stop crying.

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded my head, a tear falling off my face and falling through her. "I promise.." I say quietly back to her.

I laid there and simply smiled, happy again, for that moment.

Seeing her smile made me feel a little better and I smiled back faintly, laying down next to her, "So're you gonna haunt me now?" I asked her smiling a little more.

I nodded, opening my eyes to seeing Riley next to me and smiled some more. "Always will." I said lightly and laughed.

I smiled lightly and laughed for the first time in the past few days, feeling happy that I knew she'd be there.

I smiled at his laugh and moved myself as close to him as I could get before touching him.
