I hoist Mia up in my arms a bit more, trying not to drop her. I knock on the door, praying Andy was here.

Sitting in the livingroom watching Brian play with his toys I heard someone knocking on the door,"Coming."I said picking up Brian. I opened the door,"Hello?"

"Hey Andy." I smile weakly.

[Andromeda Black]

"Uh, hi Maddie. What brings you here?" I asked looking at Mia.

[Madeline Speare]

"Her." I say nodding to Mia,"Have you seen Padfoot? He dropped by earlier with her, told me to look after her and mutter about being back in a few. That was three hours ago, and I'm kinda freaking out, I'm not so good with kids."

"I saw him earlier but I don't know where he is now."I looked at Mia,"Would you like to come in and let her play with Brian? At least until Sirius might show.?"

[Madeline Speare]

"Yeah," I say walking inside and putting her down next to Brian,"Your a mum huh?"

[Andromeda Black]

"yeah, I'm a mom."I smiled,"I haven't talked to you in forever."

[Madeline Speare]

"I know, been pretty busy." I smile,"It's good to see you Andy, you look good."

[Andromeda Black]

"yeah me too."I laughed,"It's good to see you too. You're looking good."

[Madeline Speare]

I smile weakly, holding up my bandaged arm,"Could be better."

[Andromeda Black]

I looked at her arm,"What happend?"

[Madeline Speare]

"Me and my big mouth." I smile,"It's nothing serious really. Just a few cuts."

[Andromeda Black]

"If you say so."I smiled,"Would you like something to eat or drink?"

[Madeline Speare]

"Uh sure. Pumpkin juice would be fine."

[Andromeda Black]

"Two pumpkin juices it is."I smiled,"Sure you don't want a butterbeer or something else?"

[Madeline Speare]

"No, sorry, I'm staying sober. Had a bit of a drinking problem."

[Andromeda Black]

I laughed,"I remember how that was. Good thing you're sobering up."

[Madeline Speare]

"Yeah, I promised Gideon I would." I smile weakly.

[Andromeda Black]

I nodded,"Go ahead and make yourself at home."I said going to the kitchen.

I smile, looking at the walls. Pictures of her and Sirius were the only ones that were up about the Blacks.

"here you go."I smiled walking back into the room

"thanks," I say taking the drink from her,"You and Paddy are pretty close huh?"

[Andromeda Black]

I chuckle,"He's the only blood that I consider family."

[Madeline Speare]

"He's a good guy."

[Andromeda Black]

"yeah, he is. I'd be lost without him."

[Madeline Speare]

"Same, though he just needs to control that temper and those hormones." I laugh at the last part.

[Andromeda Black]

I laugh,"I'll agree with that."I smile,"I've warned him about those hormones...he said he's got that covered, though I doubt that's a good thing."

[Madeline Speare]

"Got that covered? Please, he can't control himself when theres a pretty girl nearby."

[Andromeda Black]

I laughed,"He just had the part where he took them home covered. He's worse about women than a drunk at a bar."
