Briar sat in the living room, staring at the wall.
The twins were asleer and Jenny was in her room.
Hailey, ofcourse, was running around the house trying to be as annoying as possible.
"Quit running!!" She yelled up the steps as Hailey ran down them.
She'd ran into one of the hallways..the hallways that contained most of the breakable things.
"Hailey! Don't-"She heard a squeal and a laugh, then a crash of glass, "Shit!" She screamed and kicked the couch before running into the hallway. "Hailey Jane Philps!! OOO you're in for it once I get this cleaned up!!"

Briar's eyes narrowed immediately at Hailey when she started to laugh hysterically.
"GET IN THE LIVING ROOM!" She bellowed, walking into the with clenched fists.
Right as she was about to talk to her about what happened, there was a knock at the door. "What now?" She said in a whiney voice when walking to it.
She'd opened the door and looked at the person for a second before taking a double take, "Wha--?" She backed up slightly and narrowed her icy blue eyes even more whilst blowing a strand of blue hair out of her eyes.

"Hi Briar" I say and hug her "Hailey" i say looking in the house "How is she,you?" I ask excitedly

Briar looked at the bundle of pink hair as she hugged her in disbelief.
Syndelle was dead, she wasn't coming back..yet here she was.
Snapping back into reality, she replied, "She-she's fine. In the living room. Me? I've been better," She said quietly.

Four years and she's back? You're delirious Briar Rae. She thought to herself.
Briar nodded with a forced sort of smile and lead her into the living room where Hailey was sitting on the sofa with a pout on her face. "That's her."

Briar watched cautiously as Hailey stared at Syndelle with a confused expression.
It doesn't surprise her that she doesn't remember, seeing as she was only a tot when she died.
"..Mommy?" Hailey asked hesitantly after a few moments. The tone was still confused but as she stared at her more, she'd seen a resemblence.

Hailey looked up at Briar with narrowed eyes and Briar flinched, looking down.
What? She's a mean little 5 year old. "You told me mommy went to heaven," She said darkly before looking back at Syndelle. "A-am I supposed to?"

Briar decided to finally say something, "She may not remember you. Since she was just a small tot," She said quietly. Hailey glared up at Briar and stuck out her tongue then saying, "I barely remember."

Hailey's eyes teared up and she hugged Syndelle.
Briar watched the scene for a moment and felt as if a part of her heart was being ripped out.
Hailey wasn't the best of kids, but she held a place in Briar's heart. She spent four years raising the girl.
She moved into the kitchen and put her head in her hands, "It's for the best," She whispered.

I smile hugging Hailey then saw briar go into the kitchen "Im sorry Briar" I tell her "Ill bring her evryday if you want" i say to her "Wpuld you want to be her god mum" i ask

"Alot of things have happened Syndelle, but yeah I think I'll be fine," Briar nodded, not wanting to bring her into any of this mess. "Now go get to know your kids more."
