I forgot about the fight that was going on when Briar left to Ireland those couple weeks ago. Everything she said was still stinging him in the heart, and he still wondered why she even married him.
"Let's not worry about that now..." I say sitting down next to her, leaning on her shoulder, a second instinct action by now.
