Jay, Jessie and I walk up to my front door of the 3 story house. "Okay..." I take a deep breath before going in.
"Mommy!" I hear all at once as they all run towards me. "Momma, Justin put gum in my hair today!" Zoe whines. "She's lying..." Justin says. "Yeah she is!" Dustin says. I frown at the three of them.
"Momma, I want a new doll." Ashlyn says, showing me her old dirty one. "Mom Isaiah broke your shoe rack today." Jenny tattles in a matter of fact tone. "But I didn't mean to!" Isaiah says sticking out his tongue. I count them all to see who I haven't seen yet.
"Hi mum...I drew this for you. Mine's better than hers." pointing at her twin Hope. Hope shoves Holly. "Yoo didn't see that mum." she laughs.
I turn around with a smile to Jay and Jessie. "The Henderson Army..." I say laughing now.

"Can I poke them?" Jessie whispers in Jay's ears. He shake my head and prod her head lightly. "No." He chuckles and sets her down on her feet.
"You weren't joking when you said you had an army." Jay chuckle leaning on of his arms on Shelbys shoulder lightly in a friendly way.
"Which one is which?"

I smile. "Okay, The two twin boys are Justin and Dustin. They wink at Jay. "And the twin girls are Hope and Holly." I say pointing over at a corner. "Jenny's the only girl that has brown hair." I say nodding to the couch. "Zoe is the straight hair blonde right there next to the curly blonde, that's Ashlyn. "And finally the last boy at my feet is Isaiah." I say smiling down at him.

"They're all great Shelby. More than great." He smiles, "Umm...Justin, Dustin, Hope, Aslyn, Zoe, Jenny, Holly, and Isaiah," He chuckles triyng to name them all. "This one right here's Jessie."

"Hi Jessie!" They all say. "She's four...let's see. That's Isaiah's age too." I say to Jessie and Jay. Isaiah frowns a bit at Jessie. "Momma why does she have to be a girl?" he sighs. I laugh. "He wants a brother." I say to Jay with a smile.

Jay laughs then leans down and picks up Isaiah. "Hey, chin up little man." He grins. "You've got two brothers, and seeing as being out numbered by the female gender is unfair, I'll hang around and help you out. That cool with you?" e chuckles looking at the little boy.
Jessie looks up at Shelby and spins her finer around in a circle next to her head. "He's crazy, please put up with him" She whispers softly.

Jay walks over and sits next to Jenny, as the rest of them follow him and does the thing where it makes it look like his thumb is comeing off of his hand.
"I mean," She says a little louder seeing as Jay walked away, "He likes you. He's a bit on the crazy side. Not bad crazy. Good crazy. But please put up with my daddy.
Jay looks back at them and wves slightly then goes back to entertaining the kids.

I smile at her. "Okay then, because I like him too..." I say to her. I pick her up and walk over to sit next to Jay on the couch. "Let's play simon says, and Jessie can be it." I say standing up and moving the coffee table.

"Yes!
Jay hears a bunch of 'I want to be it!' or 'Muuuuumm!'
"You guys will get your turn soon enough." He chuckles. "You know, one of them can be it. Jessie already has a big head." He smiles at Shelby, only half joking.

I laugh. "No that way they can't say that I favor one of them more. And thanks for helping me." I say with a smile.
They all stand in the new spot made and I continue to stand there to play as well. "Are you gonna play?" I ask him.

Hope jumps up and down. "Haha, Jessie didn't say simon says..." Justin teases her. She sighs and sits on the couch.

"Don't worry about it baby girl." Jay says looking back at Hope then leans up and clips her chin lightly, "Win the next time." He smiles at her and walks back next to Shelby.
"Simon says jump up and down five times." Jessie says.

Everyone jumps up and down, but I nearly fall since Zoe jumped backwards a bit.

Jay stops jumping and catches Shelby to make sure she'd stay standing. "You okay?" He asks after a moment, still having his arm around her.

"You're both out!" Jenny points at us. I smile up at him. "Now I am." I say softly. I made sure I was balanced. "Do you want some coffee or something in the kitchen?" I ask him as I feel my face get warm.

Jay smiles down at her, his arms still around her. "Yeah that'd be cool." He says. "Anything breaks or anyone hurt, I'm blameing you." He says looking back at Jessie for a moment, only joking around. When Jay looks back at Shelby and grins, "Lead the way Ms Cresent." He grins, holding his arm out.

I sigh. "Really it's fine. See look I can even skip if I wanted to." I say skipping around the kitchen, but since it was honestly really sore, I trip again right into his chest. "I'm so sorry." I say to him looking up.

He chuckles down at her. "Maybe I'm just to tall." He grins seeing as he was about 6 feet. maybe 6 1. He moves his hands to her lower back and runs his thumbs in small circles lightly against her back. "Sure you don't want me to look at you ankle?"
