"I like it." I smirked, throwing the peelings away and getting out a knife.
We both sat and ate our fruit. Apparently, there was a lot we hadn't shared with each other. It was kind of weird, considering we lived in the same house and all.
"So, what else has been going on with you?" I asked.

"Nothing really, just spending a good majority of my time with James and meeting new people." I replied, hoisting myself back up onto the counter. "What about you?"
It was weird how much we hadn't known about eachother lately, being at one point eachother was all we knew.

"Same." I shrug, biting into one of the orange slices, "Spending time with Chris, hanging out... The usual I guess."
I went on to eat my orange. For as much as we hadn't talked, there really wasn't a whole lot to say. It felt kind of awkward, in a way. Especially when your sister doesn't know you've been dating someone. There's just that kind of tension in the air, I suppose.

It was weird, I felt like it was almost like talking to a stranger at some level. It seemed as tho there was so much to say but so little to put into words.

I pricked an eyebrow up at her, peering over my own hand. Shaking my head, I grabbed the cards out of her hand and put them and my own hand back into the main deck. Slowly, I started to reshuffle the cards.
"Go fish then." I laughed, rolling my eyes.
If she didn't know how to play, she shouldn't have suggested it.

I had forgotten all about Matches and when I looked around me on the floor, he wasn't anywhere to be found. I groaned, "MATCHESSSS!"

I nodded in agreement and stopped shuffling the deck, "Damn straight." I grinned.
I felt something crawling up my shirt.
"MATCHES!" I yelled, grasping at my shirt, trying to prevent the little creature from going up it.

I shook my head. Oh boy...
"DON'T HURT HIM!" I exclaimed, biting my lip to hold back the burst of laughter.
Then I couldn't hold it in anymore and busted out laughing, covering my mouth with my hand to make an attempt at stopping myself. I knew the more I laughed, the higher the chances were that she would hurt him.

Finally, I managed to grab the thing by the tail. I picked it up and examined it.

"LET HIM GO!" I shouted. I began looking around and spotted her spider not to far from me, crawling about on the floor. I jumped up and hurried over to it, holding my foot over it.
"I'LL SQUISH IT IF YOU DON'T LET MATCHES GO!" I exclaimed, my eyes shifting from the spider to Sage to Matches who was squirming about, trying to get free.

All in one motion, I flipped out my wand and waved it about, "Accio Revolta."
Revolta flew over and landed in my other hand. I flicked Matches out of my grasp and he landed on the floor a few feet away from me.
"Tell your stupid gecko to watch where it's crawling." I sneered at her.

I dived for Matches and snatched him up in my hand. "Its not my fault he's adventerous." I laughed and put him on the bottom step on the stairs.
"Lucky you got that spider out of the way in time...I so would have stepped on it..." I muttered, smirking slightly.

I stopped at the top of the stairs and sat down. Placing an elbow to my knee I rested my head on my fist.
"Bored...bored...bored..." I said quietly then stopped and listened to the silence for a minute.
Minute of silence...OVER. I thought, snickering to myself. "SAGE!" I shouted.'
