Emma grinned slightly back at him but then it faded a bit at his question. She had never really thought abit it. Emma bit the inside of her lip for a few moments. "Because.." She paused. "Because I loved him and he was close with his mother and I wasn't going to get between them in any way." She said, "And now that he's gone, I know she's hurting just as much as I am."
