Normal Wishing [Shelby]

[Riyann Servansikk]

I had gone up to the Astronomy Tower just to see it again. It was probably my most favorite class, even up against Potions and Transfiguration. Shelby was the teacher and I don't know if I wanted to see her or not, just because of what I'd gotten myself into.
Looking up at the stars I half-smiled, feeling normal again, even just for a moment.

[Shelby Chou]

I walk up to my desk throwing my portfolio on top of it. I didn't care that I knocked off practically everything on my desk. Riyann was gone, forever. There was nothing I could do or say to bring her back. I sit down at the desk, placing my head in my hands, with a deep sigh.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I heard things fall down from Shelby's office and, despite not wanting to go see, I did, going through the wall like I'd been getting more and more used to doing. Going into the office I saw Shelby sitting at her desk, head in her hands and stayed where I was, not sure what I could or should do, just knowing that I shouldn't spy on her like I was.

[Shelby Chou]

I brush my hair out away from my eyes, wiping away a few tears. I felt as if someone was watching so I look up. My mouth instantly drops. "Riy-Riyann?" I say softly, feeling a knot in my throat.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I nodded, getting used to the mouth drops or the shocked looks as of lately. "I'm sorry for watching you." I said, kinda looking away from her as I said it.

[Shelby Chou]

"N-no, it's okay. Really..." I say standing up and walking over to her.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I nodded, feeling a bit awkward since I was used to being a ghost, and in such a small time, but no one else was. "Okay." I said quietly.

[Shelby Chou]

I smile weakly, wanting to hug her just like at christmas. "So... umm. I'm sorry. This is my fault." I start off. "I shouldn't have let you become a deatheater just to spy for the family."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shook my head. "Why doesn't anyone get it. There was no way to stop me from doing what I did." I said and turned away. "Shelby, I knew it was going to happen and there was no way out." I said, knowing that I had kept that from Riley.

[Shelby Chou]

"Then why did you even do it, since you knew you were going to die?" I ask raising my voice slightly.

[Riyann Servansikk]

"Because I'd already gotten myself to far in." I said, not raising my voice as Shelby had. "It's not like I wanted this, not like I didn't like being able to be with Riley. It's not as if I WANTED to see everyone suffer Shelby, it just happened and I'm paying for it by watching you all live and me staying here, not being able to do anything but watch." I said.

[Shelby Chou]

"Riyann. I found... I found a spell that can bring you back. I used it on Logan. You remember who he is?"

[Riyann Servansikk]

I just nodded, not sure who Logan was but sure that I must've before this, everything just didn't seem the same and I didn't remember the same things I should have. "Will it work?" I asked, looking away with tears in my eyes and sitting down on the ground, I didn't need it to be just a hope like when Riley told me I needed it to be real.

[Shelby Chou]

"It might. It takes a max of three months to prepare." I say softly. "Logan is Briar's former dead husband. It worked on him, it might work for you."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shook my head, wiping my transparent tears away. "Shelby." I said, turning and looking at her. "I can't just go off a maybe. I can't wait off of some lost hope." I said and shook my head again. "I need it to be real, to be a yes, it WILL work." I said, voicing my thought and feelings this time.

[Shelby Chou]

"Riyann I want it to work. You have to have hope for it to work!" I say to her.

[[do you want it to work? lol]]

[Riyann Servansikk]

[[Uh, sure lol..]]
I shook my head still and kept my eyes averted from her. "We can try it." I whispered. "But I want nothing of it until needed." I said, still sitting there, knowing Shelby could see the wall behind me.

[Shelby Chou]

I nod. "Okay then... but do you know where we can find a strand of your hair?" I ask.

[Riyann Servansikk]

"Uh, I think they've already burried my body. If they haven't cleaned out my room then I've still got my things there. I think my brush is in there." I said, shaking my head, trying to remember the things that happened before I'd been killed.

[Shelby Chou]

"Alright then. I'll have to go to your house then. Is that okay?" I ask softly, trying not to raise my voice again.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shook my head. "It's in the Gryffindor Common Room." I said quietly, "That's my only home."

[Shelby Chou]

"Okay then..." I say sitting on my desk. "So umm... is it fun walking through walls?" I ask not knowing what to say. "You can spy on the boys changing in the quidditch changing rooms."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I chuckled at Shelby's attempt. "I didn't like it at first." I said. "But I just wasn't used to not being alive. Now it's just second nature and it's been only a few days." I add with a shrug.

[Shelby Chou]

I smile slightly. "You better not get used to it yet." I say to her.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I laughed and nodded, rubbing my face of the tears. "Alright." I said and smiled at her.

[Shelby Chou]

"And no crying I've done enough of that. You'll make me cry." I say wth a weak smile.

[Riyann Servansikk]

"Sorry." I mumbled, letting my thoughts drift to Riley and I bit my lower lip.

[Shelby Chou]

"What's wrong?" I ask her softly.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shook my head lightly. "Just Riley didn't seem to be taking it that great earlier. He got a bit better, but I know he's hiding it." I said lightly. "But if this spell works it'll be back to normal." I hope, I thought.

[Shelby Chou]

"Of course he's not. You were his fiancee... were... you are his fiancee." I say correcting myself.
