Row stumbled ever so slightly on her way up the path and cursed herself mentally. She couldn't curse out loud anymore and tripping was a bad idea anyway. Tripping isn't good when you're holding a baby, especially if it's your baby. The smile that broke out across her face was the easiest one she'd had in a long time. She was glad to be away from her parents, and she was glad she had her daughter and she was glad she was going to see her friends. Because that was important. She used her free hand to tug Will's jacket, tighter around her shoulders, then touched her fingers lightly to her daughter's face, peaceful and unworried while she slept. She smiled again, gently tapping her knuckles to the wood of the door, suppressing a shiver against the cold.

"Oh no, you don't." I mutter, grabbing the photo from Alex's little hands and setting it back on the coffee table,"Daddy wouldn't be happy if you broke his picture,"I grin, hoisting him out of his playpen. I still saw it as a prison, and didn't like leaving him in there for too long. Alex gives a laugh, reaching up at the air,"Nothing up there baby," I grin, hoisting him higher in my arms, turning my head round when I hear a faint knock. "Come on tiger cub, wanna see who's at the door?" I smile, pulling it open. "Row," I grin.

"Maddie!" She grins, rocking up and down on the balls of her feet excitedly, then looking at the baby in her arms with wide eyes, quite forgetting she was holding her own, "Baby!"

"Erin," She smiles, "Andrews as well. I wanted her to have Will's name." "He's pretty," She grins at the bundle in her arms, "I don't know if pretty is a good word for a boy though. Did you stick with the name Alex?"

"I know so," I grin, hoisting Alex higher into my arms as he reaches into the air again,"Course he's tiny, happens when they're born three months early. Yes, I know, he says he doesn't see the resembles but everyone else does. Shame he looks like his da." I grin.

"Three months? Whoo," She whistles, "That's a while and a half." "It's cos he doesn't want to see the resemblance," She laughs, then grins and nods, "Yeah, poor baby Alex."

"Yeah, he's alright. Not too much damage, his brother wasn't so lucky," I mumble softly. I laugh, grinning weakly,"Yeah, poor baby Alex, come on now enough about this Tiger cub, what about your baby?"

"Oh," She says quietly, not sure what else to say because 'I'm sorry' is probably way overplayed here, "Well, at least Alex is healthy..." "What about her?" She smiles, "She can do what I can. Metamorphamgi for the win," She laughs softly, twining a lock of her thin hair around her finger idly; it was a vivid and unnatural yellow but she was sure it'd been red when she'd entered the house, "And she smiles like her Daddy."
