"Bit feminine, MJ. I'm no queen."

"Having Nate want to be a girl is enough in this family,"

"Does it really matter what gender he is if he takes it both ways anyway?"

"Who? Nathan?"

|
|
Post by Charlie Owens on Dec 14, 2007 22:36:47 GMT
"Yeah, him. Especially now when he's un-Nathan-ish. It's really weird," I admit, "He comes and sits on the end of my bed and doesn't say anything for hours, and then he'll just get up and go again and I can hear him walking around until he'll come back because he doesn't want to be on his own. And then he'll sit in silence again and then he'll go off wandering again. And sometimes he'll get drunk and sit on the stairs or go outside and walk around in the dark. And sometimes he'll sit with me and talk like I'm not there. And then sometimes he nearly laughs and he's nearly back to normal and we'll talk about random things and then it'll just go back to weird again and he does scare me at the moment."

I smile weakly,"Nathan's never been on his own before Charlie, he misses Noah is all."

"I know, he yells in his sleep," I mumble, "It's sad. I can hear every word from the other side of the house. He definitely misses Noah, and maybe...maybe keep him away from Kaleb for...uh...well, life."

"Oh god, poor Natty." I mutter,"I don't think keeping him away from Kaleb will be too hard, no one's seen him in days."

"Yeah, poor guy," I say softly, "And Aunt Rose and Claire as well. And taking Leney away. He's cracking up for sure." I sigh quietly, "Kaleb'll come back eventually. He's just blaming himself probably. Trying to drown himself in firewhisky maybe."

"Yeah, I heard about that," I mumble,"They shouldn't be able to take her away, it's not fair." I say,"He shouldn't though, it wasn't anyone's fault."
