I walk briskly up the path to the house, gripping Ian tightly by the upper arm, feeling extremely like a parent.
I couldn't really think of anything comforting to say, so I didn't say anything, which probably wasn't the best course of action, but I didn't want to mess him up any.
I knock lightly on the door, waiting for Maddie to answer, deciding it probably wasn't best to apparate with him when he was like this, hoping she'd answer the door quickly.
"Maddie..." I mutter under my breath, "Sorry about bringing him here in this state."

I groan hearing the doorbell ring. I haven't been feeling well lately and I didn't feel like moving. I slowly got up and walked over to the door opening it. It was Gideon and Ian. Bloody hell, I think to myself hastily pulling my sleeve down.
