"Yeah, tell me about it," I grin, hoisting Allie into my arm and stepping over Johnny,"Can you get Emma or Tyler?" I ask, nodding to where they were on the floor.
Setting Allie on the couch, and pulling a blanket over her, I brush the hair from her face. I had never really seen how much she looked like Kaleb. It's good to see a little bit of the parents in their kids. My own voice floats back in my head, as I lightly put my hand on my stomach.

I hesitate a little, not really sure how to go about picking up a kid. Can't be that hard, can it? Even though they're all delicate-looking? I ask myself, hoisting up Emma and hoping I don't dislocate her arm or something.
"Where... should I put her?" I ask awkwardly, looking around.

"On the couch behind you," I mumur, setting a blanket over Johnny and lifting his head slightly so I oculd slide a pillow underneath his head. I step over him again, bending down, with some difficulty, and pick Tyler up,"I like them a whole lot better when they're asleep." I say quietly.
