"yeah she's fine. just a bit out of it. it's from the whole werewolf thing. and the fact that i'm such a horrible father heightington kidnapped her and held a knife to her throat just to get to me the night before he died. it got a bit infected, but it's ok." i explain and move some of her red hair out of her face.

I take my head out of my hands after a while, deciding that whatever happens, happens.
I jump off the counter top and grab a cup to fill up, so it looks like i did go into the kitchen for a drink.
