Kus stood there with the knife still at his back "Now are you gonna be nice He said sweetly "Or should i just play Doctor with you." coldly

my father does nothing just stands there
i grab the guys hand "i dont think so" i say truthfully

"I'll fix you right up." He says healing her mouth with a spell "Kus let the man go." Verk said still looking at the girl

Kus sighed and put the knife away "OK!" He said as if he was a child and walked over to Verk and the girl "Whats your name?" He said smiling

"thank you" i say to the guy
"im Ellie Green" i say "and your names are" i ask

"Kus" He says with a smile and a bow. "Verk" Verk nods his head. "Godfrey" They said at the same time.

"nice to meet you" i say "what brings you to my wonderful 'home'" i say with sarcasm

"Well..." Kus says with a cheeky smile "To tell you the truth we need a place to stay." Verk hit him in the back of the head "Idiot..." Then looks at her and bits his lip "What he said. So were making your father take us in."

"i could show you to your rooms" i say trying to walk but my legs werent in the best shape after the crucios so i lost my balance
my father smirks he was proud of what he had done

Verk extended his arm catching her "How about i carry you and you just point us in the way we need to go." He says picking her up bridel style

Kus noticed him smiling "I'll be up in a bit." He says looking at mr. Green

"thanks" i say to verk as we go up the stairs to the guest rooms

my father keeps smirking when he sees kus he smirks even more

Kus takes out his wand in his right hand and Knife in his left "You look happy. Something making you feel that way?" He asked coldl walking towards him

Verk carried her up the stairs "So does he do that alot?"

my father stops smirking when he sees the knife and wand and doesnt say anything

"whenever i annoy him or try and sneak out he does so ya alot" i say "im used to it now" i say shruging

I stood there and sighed. "You two..." I said and shook my head. Why couldn't they just mind there own bussines?

Verk shakes his head "I'm sorry to hear that. You shouldn't be treated that way at all."

my father steps back but says nothing hes to afraid

"i dont mind at least hes not doing it to my little sister" i say and shrug agian

Kus smirk turns to a solid face then dissappears only to reapear behind him Knife in his side and hand over his mouth "Hows it feel to be helpless old man?" He says coldly

Verk made it to the top of the stairs "well thats good to hear.. He looks up and down the hall way "Witch way?"

I sighed and sat. It wasn't like I had anywere better to be.

i point to the left side of the hall "he used to do it to my brothers and other sister but two whent missing and he killed my one" i say sadly

my father panics and steps forward trying to get away he was a coward and felt powerful hurting others and weak when he couldnt

Verk smiled sensing what kus was doing then looked back at her biting his lip "I'm sorry for you loss." He continued towards the room

Kus grabbed Mr. Green by the collar bone and pulled him back. The knife jabbed in father in "I don't beleave i said you could leave." blood coming out of the wound and on to his hands

"its fine"i say"death happens he just died earlyer than he should have" i say trying to make myself feel better

my father screams in pain and i look back hearing the scream my father trys to run again

Kus grabs him and slams him onto the floor "Don't make me cut your tounge out you old fat ass." He let his wand drop and took out another knife sliding it down the side of mr. Greens face "Don't move cause i might slip"

Verk sees her look back "I don't think you'll have to worry about him hurting you again."

my dad gets wide eyed but doesnt move

i knew he would hurt me as long as he was alive
and i remember my mother was a little like him she was gone for a trip and would be back and take her anger about my dad out on me "ya i guess" i say quietly

Kus smiles"Now if you want to keep breathing your gonna keep your hands off her. If i see you so much as slap her i'll take a finger off." he says stepping on his hand "Got it?"

Verk gets to the guest room and lays her on the bed "Your not gonna get hurt anymore. Trust me."

my father nods repededly "i wont hurt her" he lies

i nod not having anything to say

"You better hope not." Kus says turning away from him and putting his knife back in his pocket

Verk moved some hair from her face "If he does you just tell me?"

my father sighs in releif that he had put the knife away

"i will" i say and start to think about my sisters and brothers

Quickly turning he threw his other knife into the mans left hand pinning it to the floor "Thats a reminder for you." He turned back towards the stairs and made his way up


Verk smiles "So how old are you?" He asked trying to lighten the mood

"im fifteen almost sixteen " i say

Kus stops just about to step on to the frist stair then slowly turns his head to look at him "What was that?"

Verk looked down "So young."
