Taya walked up the steps to the Astronomey tower, her shoes making sounds echo down through the hall.
She opened the door and quietly walked in, closing the door behind her.
She looked around, it was bright.
Taya walked over to a ledge and sat down, looking at the scenery.
The sun was high up in the sky and even though it was it was freezing.
The lake was frozen and many people were ice skating.
A soft smile came to Taya's lips as she gazed out at it all.

Yumi walked up slowly to the tower, again.
She had no intention of trying....that....again, but she had to come back.
She just had to.
Yumi opened the door and saw a girl sitting on the ledge. Memories flooded her mind, but she quickly pushed them out.
Yumi walked in and closed the door back and sat on a desk, far away from the window.

Taya started humming a sweet tune when she heard the door open and close.
She shrugged and started humming again, but curiousity had gotten the best of her.
She turned around to see a girl sitting on a desk, away from the window.
She gave a warm smile and waved at the girl.

Yumi looked over at the window
Yeah...Different view that's high and... has a long drop...
After a moment she wasn't spaced out anymore and looked back at her. "Yeah..." She muttered. "Yumi Baker."

"That's mostly where I stayed, either that or the classrooms ofcourse," Taya said with a light laugh, "I think I've seen you a few times aswell, did you graduate or something?"

"Ah," Taya nodded in understanding. "It would be tough to do that with three children. I would say congratulations on the baby, but I don't know if you consider that a good or bad thing."
She smiled slightly and shuffled her feet, twisting her upper body back and forth idly.

Taya smiled, "I rememeber when my sister was first born, at first I loved her then all her crying and all the attention going on her made me hate having a little sister. Now I worry about her many times a day."

"Yeah..." Yumi smiled, "Mia and Brett are alwasy triny gto get into his room so they can try and teach him their games. Then when say they can't cos most of the time he's sleeping they both whine for the rest of the day." She chuckles. "Know they wish he didn't cry as much, but they get through it."
